Okay, the first thing to do is to figure out what flavor of sub you are. I checked your profile and there's no question that you submit in the bedroom - the question is, do you submit out of it as well? Nothing wrong with going either way, but it makes the search easier when you know what you seek.
You're not going to like this, but I'm going to urge you to go to munches, if not local clubs. Munches are nothing more than boring, vanilla-type parties where all the participants are kinksters. You go there to meet people, not really to hook up, and you'll begin to network there.
The way that you write shows that you value writing and communication skills. Brace yourself for some truly awful online messages... (that's one of the reasons I suggest that you do you searching offline).
