yes i might get stick for this but i dont give a flying F this website says DO NOT GIVE MONEY TO ANYONE so why is it i am getting stick for declining people who want tributes,yes you can all tell me to F off but thats fine just dont take the piss out of those who respect the rules of this website cheers

You are getting stuck with declining people who ask for money because this is an online site and not one that asks for your money so they can hire lots of people to monitor everyone here. They do the best they can. The rest is up to us. Life is more important than the little things. Consider the source and go live your life.

whose giving you stick - presumably the people who are asking for tributes and not getting any - so whats the problem.

When someone asks you for money, tell them no then block them. They can give you all the stick (stick?) they want but the c-mail will never reach you. And btw...the website WARNS against giving money to anyone. I doubt it violates the TOS

LOL... well she has been here a full day... and she has a block button just like the rest of us. If he is creating his own problems... I feel for him and consider that a odd twist... email them and then bitch... but nothing surprises me around here. lol Still... he is disabled and so far hasn't broken any rules. She on the other hand... has.

With great respect for (almost) everyone who is posting here, i dont think that the OP's disabilities should be taken into too much account....i think that if an able-bodied person of either sex posted the original post, or there were no hints of the OP's disabilities, the general tenor of responses would not be so.....forgiving. That said, any time there are serious, helpful responses, to any OP, that can only be a good thing.[:)] As for MD, up there....LOL. Arent you just a handful of goodness and joy. People here who may be overweight, have low self-esteem, have a chronic illness or a a disability of some type may get hit on by scammers a bit more frequently simply because their honest descriptions can make them appear as though they could be desperate. OP continue to use your good judgement and remember for every Ms Wrong you come across, you are one step closer to Ms. Right. As for MD's declaration: Thank you for expressing yourself well enough that your disabilities are so clearly defined. I do feel truly sorry for you.

Angelika, I think you may be on to something there. Until recently when I had an actual profile that said something, I was always honest about my situation and spoke of it to some degree. I did think more than a few times that people might think I was too hungry for something and a number tried to play on that. I am sure of it. It didn't work... but that doesn't stop them from trying. Who are the scammer's or player's here for? The hungry. Anything that can be seen as an opportunity or vulnerability... could bring you into their range a whole lot quicker and more often. I was afraid my post would sound like I feel disabled people deserve special treatment. I don't believe that. But... I do get a real attitude when they are picked on. lol

I do agree with what others are saying...that by being open about a situation or disability, a person may be opening themselves up to being used by those who are more than a little unsavory. However, in reading the OP's profile, I have to wonder if he really is aware of how he is presenting himself by saying he's a stupid/fat/piggy who enjoys humiliation. If a person doesn't want to be used or abused then he needs to first consider how he expresses and presents himself to the world, simple common sense.
