ORIGINAL: Kirata Those poor people! No, I mean the ones doing it. What kind of childhood can they have had? We need to get some money over there to build schools and teach them skills, so they can earn a decent living instead of being forced to resort to such an awful livelihood. Unh... that's code for my real opinion. K. Honestly I would like to know your real opinion. My initial reaction to the article was horror but when I got to the last part about the red cross needing funds to buld shelters and protect people I had mixed feelings. I think the albinos should have a safe haven, if they are seriously in danger of dismenberment, but building shelters to hide them isn't the answer. I am completely ignorant of the culture and economic conditions that breed this kind of killing, so I have no idea how to stop it. It would be nice if they could address the root of it by eliminating whatever force makes dismembering people profitable. Throwing money at the problem and simply giving the people at risk a place to hide seems off to me.
