Past Forum Posts (Full Version)

There are several forum posts from 2006 that are attributed to my user account.  I can only assume that they were posted by a former owner of my usermane since they were not created by me.

To avoid this in the future it would be a helpful if forum posts were purged when an account is deleted or usernames are never duplicated or there was an easy method for cleaning up old posts.

You may want to check the posts associated with your account to see if this has happened to you.

Or you could simply abandon your current profile and set up a new one with a new name.

Well, we know there are several Andy Andersons in the world, and they seem to live with each others words..............now if your name is Adolf Hitler I could see where you might get a little tense over the other guy.

Nobody remembers what I post at 8a by noontime around here, and I am told I am a legend. I wouldn't sweat to the oldies.

Another kink site does that and I find it annoying as hell.  Suddenly conversations in threads don't make sense anymore, and if the person deleting their account started a thread, the entire thread disappears.

If this were true, you wouldn't be showing up with a vanilla cone under your name.

There are only a dozen posts, under that name. He'll lose the vanilla when he gets to post #26, if memory serves.

OP: do you not agree with the opinions posted by that screen name? Are they offensive to you?

Posts cannot be purged otherwise it would break the integrity of the threads. If you do not want to be associated with those posts, close your account and start a new one.
