HisSweetElysium -> girls vacation ideas? (11/28/2009 5:55:44 PM)

I am thinking about going on a girls getaway with a friend of mine in February. I wanted to do a cruise, but it looks like she can't swing the dates (she's got Tues-Tues off and none of the cruises out of FL correspond)

Now I'm looking at Caribbean all inclusives.  Really want something kid free or close enough, upscale, fun places at night for dancing and carousing. Not picky on the island, but preferably Jet Blue accessible.  Anyone have any suggestions for fabulous places?

Well- Alaska has more single men then any other state.

I do not know if you are into horseback riding and the like but, have you thought about going to stay at a dude ranch? Lots of cowboy types to drool over and you may get to see a part of the country you never have before.

If not Bermuda is beautiful!! [:D]

I know you asked about the Caribbean, but as long as other people are suggesting alternative venues, I'd like to put in a word for Hawaii. Tuesday-Tuesday puts you in good position to score some pretty nice airfares, and there are a lot of inter-island cruise packages to choose from. If you're committed to that dancing-carousing ambition, Maui and Honolulu offer an abundance of options, and Kauai, The Big Island, and especially Molokai have bazillions of little places to get off the beaten path and do the deserted-beach thing. Lots of ways to do it on the cheap, too. I used to live there, so if you want some tips on saving money while seeing the real islands, PM me and I'll be glad to help.

While LevelLand sounds like a prime destination getaway, imo, I'm thinking that the OP is interested in something that she and her girlfriend can focus on each other a little more, yet have nightlife options.

A few questions to consider first,...

Do both of you have current passports? If going anywhere outside of the U.S.A., you will need one to get back in.

What is your budget? Many times travel agents can put vacation packages together at a better price than an individual can on their own. If you're experienced at putting travel packages together, Orbitz, Priceline, and Cheaptickets are all decent planning options.

You're planning this for February. Do you want to bask on a beach by day, and dance all night? Or is skiing or other wintery activities more your cup of tea?

Either way, I hope you enjoy your vacation!

Level Land offers all that, pure;

Level Land has an extra large bed, where two or more women are able, and encouraged, to "focus" on one another!

yet have nightlife options.

Once again, Level Land has this covered. They are more than welcome to choose from several nightlife options, including building me a bonfire, or nude snipe hunting.
