Looking through five or six different Dominant Women's profiles this morning, i found the most amazing thing. It seems that many Dominas think so much alike that they use the EXACT same words for Their profiles. Hitting over a half dozen different links, i only found two different profiles. One says:

REQUIRED: Intelligent but also extremely submissive man looking for a long term owned relationship. You will be my property and you will be perfectly happy that way. I am an experienced Mistress I am 24/7 Dominant, live and intend to continue living this lifestyle. I wear leather and PVC etc when I want to but obviously not all the time. I consider myself intelligent and elegant and so dress accordingly. I am demanding and I expect to be obeyed without hesitation. I have had a few long term relationships where my "partner" was permanently sub to me and it was very fulfilling so I am looking for something similar again. In fact I do not want a relationship any other way, I could never go back to the vanilla way of life. I am looking for a new slave/partner and putting in this ad to see what appears. If you wish to make contact then please do. I never judge anyone on just one e mail so give it a go. But I expect you to show a submissive attitude, there are far too many wannabees about and I have no interest in those you have their agenda and expect me to submit to their rules, how sad and deluded. Genuine submissive men only invited to initiate correspondance.

While the other says:

I am a very Dominant, bossy lady looking for a man willing to submit to Me for a long term relationship. I am very attractive with a slim body but do not look innocent. I have plenty of fetish clothing and high heels to torment you with. I like to put men in bondage and make them helpless for my sexual pleasure. Only those interested in being dominated in a 24/7 relationship need apply. You may have to undergo discipline if you don't please or obey me and I always like to get my way :)

Can so many Dominas have such identical points of view? Or could this be, gasp, plagiarism?

Those two profiles are certainly similar, but not so much that I'd necessarily assume copying. (It's hard to see how the term "plagiarism" would apply to a self-description.) Writing a profile isn't easy for many persons, so some probably do look at other profiles and take them as templates. There are certain tropes or stereotypes that you can expect to see frequently in CM profiles. They are the equivalent of "long walks on the beach" in vanilla personals. In the case of commercial dominants, they are competing for the same major market niches, so they are going be mentioning the things they think potential customers want to see.

or *gasp*...the same darn wanker?

However.... I'm not sure I see the identical points of view that you see which may make one believe these two profiles could be plagiarisim... Considering we domina tend to like some of the same things.

Perhaps i didn't make myself clear. Of the more than half dozen profiles i looked at in a row this morning, all of them were exact copies of either one or the other of the two i posted here.

They convey the same basic info but are written differently. I wouldn't call them identical at all.

An exact word by word duplication is statistically unlikely, so I would assume copying. I found three profiles that matched your second example. They all listed different locations. All had similar photos (fetish attire, face not visible), and all reported that the user had last logged on at about the same time. I would conclude they all belong to the same person. Your first example is even more interesting. Seven profiles matched that one. Three were from Australia, and four from widely separate locations in the States. Five had photos attached, all of them again fetish type poses, without the face visible. I would be very suspicious as to whether some kind of phishing or other fraudulent activity may be involved.

I had someone steal most of my profile words once. Then they were dumb enough to include me in the list of people they sent their profile to, LOL! I probably would never have known if they had not done so. At first I saw my words in the email and thought, "OK they are quoting part of my profile and in a minute they are going to discuss some part of this... their opinion or something" ... nope. I had to reread it at least three times before I figured out what happened. Incidentally, it was pretty obvious on their profile that my words were filched because they didn't speak English too well and had tried to add a few sentences of their own... which didn't really go with what I had written. I reported them. Unfortunately, does happen.
