Hearing a good song for the first time
Laughing so hard that my side hurts
Making someone else laugh that hard
A woman's smile
Holding someone
The air cooling, and the wind picking up, as a storm approaches
Puppy dogs
Courage

The inside jokes I share with my daughter

My Moms outrageous sense of humor

The smell of freshly cut grass

Hearing kiddos laugh

Funny bumper stickers that make me laugh out loud while driving

The smell of fresh bread.

Fireplaces.

Earl Grey tea with honey.

Bacon.

Buffalo Wings.

The little Chinese/Vietnamese restaurant near here.

Hugging my best friend.

My pet reaching for me in the middle of the night, or first thing in the morning when he's still laying there asleep and I've gotten up to use the restroom.

The staff and veterans I work with.

Snowy nights.

The way the christmas lights shine off of said snow.

Burl Ives.

Hot, mulled cider.

That smell from the old old christmas ornament/decoration boxes.  You know... that smell.  The one that doesn't have a name but you know the smell.

Grandma's homemade mulberry preserves.

Bubble lights, the ones on the christmas trees.

Pocketwatches.

Good, classy hats.

My 4 legged furmonsters.

My partner.

Harpsichords.

Late lazy mornings

Cafe' au lait

Blueberries and cream

My cats curled under the covers with me on cold nights

A man curled under the covers with me on cold nights...even better!

My weekend co-workers who make me laugh and appreciate my weirdness

Cheese...soft and creamy, hard and sharp, washed rind and stinky, moldy blue...doesn't matter

Chatting with my mom on the phone and listening to her talk about how her day at work went

Sharing hugs and tea with my girls and listening to their stories of school/college, boys and "Can we play a game of rummy?"

Being out in nature...walking on the beach collecting sea glass, hiking in the woods after the first snowfall, digging in my garden.

Books

Laughter

Drinking a glass of wine...in the shower...in the dark...with the window open and the cold air blowing in while the hot water is running

A blank canvas, paints and brushes and the whole afternoon to create.

Dragonflies...bees...crows...the opossum that lives under my cottage.

Lilacs

The smell of freshly cut wood.

Working out at the gym

Dreaming about and planning for...cottages, yurts, treehouses, hobbit homes and tiny living

There are so many many more things....how can a person stop?
