I know it sounds canned and corny but it's the truth - my family.

I am thankful for my friends and family (and those I have adopted as family) and all of our health.

I am thankful Him, His health, and His familys health.

I am thankful that I have a job...even if its shitty.

I am thankful for love.  It truly feels amazing and warm and fuzzly!

My family, of course.

I'm thankful that MP and I will be together this year at the same table.  Last year, we weren't.

I'm thankful that, even though clip isn't here, they recently moved him to a safer place, so he doesn't get shot at as often.

I'm thankful that clip is often bored.  It means there aren't as many sick or injured.

Believe it or not, I'm thankful for all of the people who touch My life.

That includes quite a few folks at CM.

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone.

I'm thankful that i am another year older - and not deeper in debt.

I'm thankful that i have a job, and enough money to be able to buy stuff for TG dinner - all the things we like!

I'm thankful i got to go home and see all my family who are in remarkably good nick considering.

I'm thankful that my Sir is alive and kicking and in spite of chemo and a couple of bad days every three weeks, feels ok/good/fantastic most of the time.

I'm thankful that i am not 25!!!!!

My folks, who are both 80, live in a nice mobile home park near Clearwater, FL. All of the Canadian residents there (about 90 of them) put on a Thanksgiving dinner there for everyone else. It is a thank you for every thing America has done for every one else in the world. I was at one 3 years ago. It was a very special dinner...Some people actually appreciate what we have done over the years.

I'm thankful that the people I love most in the world will be at my home and *selfishly* that I get to actually DO for them in the form of a clean house, bountiful good food, and bad jokes that make them laugh and groan.  (And I'm thankful I have a dishwasher!)

FR and total jumpthrough

I am saddled with two sets of bills. I need rent money from the suite upstairs which hasn't rented yet. I get screwed every holiday season because I don't get paid for any of it. I have a severe cataract in my GOOD eye and some health problems, not insurmountable but difficult. I have a bunch of nuts for chosen family and blood family, well let's not even go there. The other day the two month old water pump on my car broke into little pieces sending the fan damnear all the way through the radiator. Last week I had to have the main drain snaked out, and I am short on bill money this month. What's more work is becoming almost impossible to perform.

So basically I am thankful for an easy life. Really. Compared to some, it's not all that bad.

After a year that has seen my sister and both of my parents in the ICU, I am extremely thankful that I got to sit around a table laughing with all of them today.

I'm thankful that my children are healthy and happy.

And I'm thankful for all of life's twists and turns (that usually leave me grumbling), because they've made me appreciate the little things a helluva lot more than before, and I'm a happier person for it.

Happy Thanksgiving
