How sad. These clips demonstrate that she's a birlliant pianist, excellent composer and very talented singer. I saw her 'spectacle' on the AMA. She turned herself into a 2 bit whore for the fast track to 15 minutes of fame.

wow she has a beautiful voice...lots of talent to fall back on when the run as Lady Gaga is over.

her PR people are doing a great job though. 'Lady Gaga' sells. I tried not to love her, but I do.

No, but it's bad that you didn't link it.

Just what the music world needs. A female Harry Connick.

I think she's doing just fine on the course she is currently on.

I actually used to like Lady Gaga, and yes, she has immense talent.  But god damn, I'm so sick of hearing her songs on the radio.  It seems like that's ALL they play right now.  I mean, Poker Face was a kick ass song the first 50 times I heard it.  Later that hour though it got kind of old.

I actually like lady gaga although her songs have been way overplayed.  However it is a nice surprise to see and hear that she is a real musician behind the PR stunt. I'm sure she'll go more in that direction when she gets older.

I'm afraid its not her people that turned her into what she is. She fancies herself a performance artist. She writes her own songs and even designs those weird outfits. A couple of my friends saw her live recently and  they told me she actually played the piano during a lot of the show. She was also a professional song writer before she was Lady Gaga BTW. She wrote for the pussy cat dolls and some other pop tarts before becoming the weird alien tramp glam thing she is now. I don't really like her music but I think her image is fantastic. I like my pop stars like I like my sex, loud, trashy, violent, and shocking. We need more Aladdin Sanes and less Nora Joneses in my opinion.

Rockspider: yes, that's her.

Hierodule: good point, and I agree, she's charting her own course. I need to check out some of her music, though I doubt I'll care much for it, but I do appreciate those that can push things a bit, whether it's Bowie, Elton John, Eminem, or Madonna.

Her outfits are fabulous, I'll give her that.

You know, several times in the past, Maxim magazine has interviewed an actor or musician that I didn't particularly care for. After reading the interviews, I often found a certain level of respect for the person. This weirdo is literally the ONLY one I disliked even more *after* the interview.

She came off in print even weirder, skankier and more detestable than the couple of times I'd seen her on an awards show.

I'll weigh in that she is def talented. I am not running to put her in my ipod though but I admire her artistic voice, she is above, way above average on that front. Not the sound that makes me weep with anticipation to get it in my ipod and play it over and over like some artists have done for me.
