SweetPoosy -> Getting Married in Vancouver BC...and we need witnesses! (11/10/2009 2:54:56 PM)

Hi Everyone!
I have a slightly unusual request here, my beloved and I are getting married in Vancouver, BC this weekend, and since I am from Arizona, and he is from the UK, we don't have any family in the area to be witnesses.
It's a long story, but we have been together for 4 years now, and while we are planning a big wedding in October 2010, we do need to be married ASAP for legal reasons. It's possible that we could just have the officiant provide a couple of witnesses, but I can think of a few people here in the area that I've enjoyed talking to online here, and I hoping that perhaps someone would be willing to take a little time from their busy weekend to help us celebrate.
I was hoping to contact VanIsleKnight, but like me, he isn't on here as much as he used to be, so I figure I'll throw it open!
We are in Kamloops at the moment, and will be in Vancouver either Friday or Saturday, and we are open as to times. It will be a short and sweet ceremony, with a small celebration following.
