I admit I hope HLP is feeling better and wish that her day picks up

I admit that my day is mostly me being tired i did not sleep well last night

I admit offspring 1 found the right tone to say "daddy" which kept dragging me out of bed

I admit both offspring then had me awake at just after 8 dont they need to sleep too?

I admit i am here but my mind is on walk about

I admit it may be searching for my get up and go which has gone AWOL again

I admit that there are some pouncey hugs heading for HLP

I admit i love the tics song but i think if a tic was found on me i would freak out and be  a baby lol

...almost missed to get off the bus at both busses which I had to use to get back home from work (both times woke up once it had already stopped at my exit)...

...am slightly (well, thats an understatement) fed up that I wrote 2 rather lengthy emails which then vanished before I could send them off....damn fucking small laptop...why do you have buttons which destroy everything [:(][:(][:(]

...am shivering as I receive my next uni result on tuesday...and I am dreading the worst, once again [:(]

...should stop watching ghost hunters...one episode from yesterday (where a black body was seen which appeared to be from a woman) followed me in my mind on my way to work today whilst walking through dark and dodgy passages when I left my flat at 5.30am...gosh that was spooky...

...can't help it and am now watching it again (another episode not the same *shudder*)

I admit my day is getting better mostly because it's almost over.

I admit I am not cooking tonight and ordered pizza.

I admit I am stocked with meats for the next month.

I admit my house is nice and clean.

I admit I am drugged out of my gourd with stuff that doesn't affect the pain it is supposed to be relieving.

I admit the chocolate truffles the saplings got me are delicious.

I admit I might feel better after my first meal of the day.  [:o]

Oh, and thanks for the info Des and Aylee.  I am on the watch out for any issues from any of us.  Philbert is still in the jar awaiting viewing by my landlord.

Keep her there and ready to take with you to a doctor if you end up having any concerns. 

If I understand how it works correctly, ticks stay dormant until they "sense" CO2.  Then they wake up and drop.  So like I said, there could be any number of ways that she got into your house. 

Personally, ticks creep me out.  However, it is always important to keep these things in perspective. 

I am glad to hear that your day is going better.

Speaking as someone who's had countless ticks attached to him for indeterminate lengths of time over the years - yay, growing up in the country - and hasn't contracted anything from 'em yet, you should be fine. I've seen scads of dog ticks, on both dogs and people, quite a few of 'em as big or bigger'n your scare, and no one in my experience has gotten anything from 'em either. Still, keep an eye out for anything unusual - better safe than sorry.

ETA: For the record, just a FR, aimed to lovingpet - still a little groggy after my nap.

I admit I am not terribly worried about the tick.  I just don't like em much.

I admit Philbert will stay with me until I am sure I don't need her remains.

I admit that seems a little sick.

I admit I have considered how it is I may avoid any further excursions out of the house indefinitely.
