I admit that Mom is seeing the neurologist about her back today. She swears that she is refusing to have any more surgeries because they don't do a damn thing. I admit that my middle finger on my left hand does not love me...its the one that I poke for my glucose testing (I do the sides, not the tip). I admit that I am up early but I got things to do and banks to go to...and massive qualities of water to consume.

I admit I hit 1,000+ miles today!! Most of it on my bike but also includes walking. I admit I'm still hoping to get another 100 before it snows.

I admit I clocked some guy in the park today! Idiot threw firecrackers at my dogs who went absolutely mental (terrified) and I was hanging on to their leads while they were trying to bolt. Told him to stop being a twat, he threw one at me (that's assault) so I went over, hit him and for good measure lifted the knee, then called cops and reported the assault and that I had to defend myself, then collected dogs (had to let go off the leads) and went home. I admit it felt good and my only regret is that I didn't punch his lights out, effing idiot

A guy coming over and telling the creep he will throw the next punch and offered to be a witness, and having to find the dogs who were hiding in the underbrush and shaking like hell. Legally you can defend yourself against assault but pummeling him (no matter how tempting it was) might have put me on the wrong side of the law. Apart from parking and speeding tickets, I've actually never been a "law breaker" and having that on my record would be not good for work and international travel. Got a date on Monday with the police, got my report in and I so hope he presses charges for the punch and the kick, according to the police throwing a fire cracker at me was pretty serious assault... I still hope his balls will ache for a bit... Got the laptop on the floor and surrounded by 3 shaking dobies, all rescues who dealt with a lot of abuse, unfortunately him throwing the bangers at them is minor, throwing one at me is serious....

Hmmm. I've been reading that the whole 'Guy Fawkes Night' thing here is fading away over the years, while Halloween has become a bigger event. I know a lot of pet-owners will be happy about this. Dogs and cats especially seem to hate fireworks. Well done for bopping that bloke, though. ;-)

I admit I was just contacted out of the blue by a play partner from about 10 years ago on "the other site". I had lost touch with her some time ago when she entered into a committed relationship. She said "A lot has changed".
