I admit he has been having a rough time on some hardcore antibiotics. I admit his arm looks crazy bad from the IV drugs.
I admit he finally has an appointment with a specialist (an ortho) at a really good hospital tomorrow.
I admit we are all concerned because his toe does not look great, and if it's a bone infection he might lose the toe. =\

I admit that I hope swifty's dad gets some encouraging news at his appointment
I admit that I read that story about Brittany Maynard and it made me think of my mother. My mother's lung cancer came back February and she died in mid-June. Watching her suffer her last 2 weeks was pure hell and part of me wished that I could have ended her suffering even if it meant losing her sooner.
I admit that my niece has started cutting herself (and has started counseling for it) and I hope she can get past it without too much trouble.

I will continue to keep positive thoughts for him. And please ask him to have positive thoughts for himself. Do tots don't know everything. ;)

I admit I'm sore everywhere, and I'm hungry all the time, but I've lost 10 lbs, and I'm trying hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel
I admit that, on top of that, I quit smoking 11 days ago.
This has put me in a singularly miserable state, that I'm sure will pass.

But right now??? All I want is a donut, and a cigarette.

Bllonderfluff: I saw this news story on ABC earlier this year about sensory deprivation tanks. A nurse (in cardiac surgery I believe) who was able to quit cold turkey after her first experience. I'll look for the link and post for you.

I hadn't seen this in a while. I gotta do this!! I'm a germaphobe freak though and the thought of being in a container where others have been squicks me out. I'm not sure they change the salt water each time? Maybe they do, I don't know.

Spider on my screen door.
Last week.
I screamed.

For all the years I've lived here, this is the first time I've seen a spider of that size come close to where I live. Ewwwwwww!!!!!!

I admit that while bugs don't usually bother me....if I would have seen that thing on my screen door....I would have screamed too!!!!
I admit that....Rodents on the other hand ...ALWAYS bother me. I think mostly because I can't just step on them.
