I admit I made macarons today for the first time and I am delighted!
I admit I am now making bagels.
I admit I intend on making cream cheese overnight to put on them.
I also admit, I'm super lazy and I don't want to go grocery shopping after all that baking.

I admit I've been watching The Jewel in the Crown, a miniseries based on Paul Scott's brilliant Raj Quartet.

I admit it's wonderful!

I admit I'm especially impressed with how Dame Peggy Ashcroft brought a relatively minor character to rich life.

I admit we get baby M this morning. I'll get the oatmeal out for her (she loves maple and brown sugar).

I admit Mom and I acted like Daleks yesterday...I exterminated fire ants and she sprayed wasps that build a nest under an eave. Now we have to nail or screw the eave back into the main frame. (She thought I was crazy saying there were wasps there until I made her get the spray out...)
