i admit i've been listening to Joseph Campbell with Bill Moyers on mythology whilst pulling stray thread out of a quilt top i just finished. Need it 'clean' to draw on handquilting patterns.

i admit i often listen to audiobooks during quilting, and some quilts have strong memories of the books and the mood of the time.

i admit, i find this to be the start of the therapy of quilting.

I admit, Angel, I do the same thing with crocheting.
I admit, just looking at the patterns of afghans I've made in the past can bring back the songs and books I was listening to at the time.
I admit, I've started a new set of blankies for the new baby that is joining the family, and these will have the soundtrack of Ingrid Michaelson, and Lorde infused into them.

i admit im also working on a baby quilt for a gr... gr.... great-nephew (oh god i feel so old saying that!)
i admit it's a quickie quilt, and i'm making a smaller version to see how quickie, it'll be for the grandbaby's dolly bed. fortunately the pattern is very 'in' and modern now, so i'm a hip auntie (i have a sinking feeling i've aged myself with that reference [&:])

funny enough, the myth book is appropriate to the quilt i'm currently cleaning up - the recipient is a pastoral couple, and he uses myths and stories heavily in his preaching

i admit i'm not sure what book i should listen to while doing the baby quilt. i'll have to look up in the e-library. there's the 'silver donkey' i'm halfway through, that has children doing kind and daring deeds......

I admit, we are not old...we are wise!
I admit, this is part of the reason i love crocheting. It allows me to sit and listen without feeling guilty !!!

i admit i fall asleep if i don't have my hands occupied while i'm listening. i can't watch movies unless i'm doing something with my hands either.

I admit I'm jealous of quilters, knitters, and crocheters. Wish I knew how to do at least one of those.

I admit I feel blah. I just want to relax my aching body but I have too much to do around the house. I haven't felt well all week and have been slacking. Right after I get my CM fix, time to get back at it.

I admit I sew and knit, but pretty much suck at both. I admire anyone who does them well. Alpha can sew like nobody's business.

I admit my crafts are cooking, photography, and keeping us financially solvent.[;)] I would really like to put some serious work into hand-embroidery, if I can ever find the time.

I admit that this morning was a tiny but huge turning point for us. One lf our chickens laid an egg. We ate it with our breakfast. That egg is officially the first bit of homesteading that has happened on our homestead.[:D]

I admit I hope theshytype feels better soon.

I admit it I have a friend who doesn't understand why I have never gotten angry with him...why I don't blame him, fault him...all the kind of "stuff" a person may experience when the love of their life leaves them.
I admit it I could never be angry with him. Hurt, yes, but never angry.
For him I have unconditional love.

I admit I always wanted to be a mermaid so I knitted my own mermaid tail. it restricts movement and was one of Master Fredpbear's favorite .
