I admit that if I ever do get married, it will not be some big whing-ding. Any and all money will be spent on a fun honeymoon.

I admit that I want Kali to not worry and fret, and that I want her wedding to be a joy for her.

I admit it...I'm chortling at "Ambassador Domi's" thread.  And it only took 4 pages for one of the biggest psychos to weigh in and get spitted.  Brava.

Some people just need to grow a sense of humor.

I admit that I'm blaming the hawtness of sunny and kali for global warming.

MarksFantasyGirl -> RE: I Admit It I........ (1/3/2010 9:46:49 AM)

I admit that I told my 4 year old "Feel privaleged that mommy is pregnant!" as we ate a tub of Ben & Jerry's for breakfast.

I admit that I convinced myself it was ok, because it was Peach Cobbler, and we got Peaches, and milk for breakfast....

I admit, it was a bad thing because then, he wanted to eat candy, and I told him no... So he told me "Well, We ate BREAKFAST!!!" lmao

(typo)

No argument here.  But I hear "ya can't fix stupid" so I don't expect it to happen anytime soon.

persephonee -> RE: I Admit It I........ (1/3/2010 10:45:04 AM)

i admit that my wedding was low budget, but i wanted it to be even lower.

i admit that i couldnt think of anything i wanted to do more with my friends and family on the happiest day of my life, up til then, was to have a barbeque in my own backyard, and a really huge game of running charades.

i admit that i got married barefooted because i hated every shoe that i saw, and that my dress cost 39.99. i admit that i still like it.

i admit that even tho i didnt get the bbq or the charades, it was a perfectly serviceable day.

i admit that a couple things went wrong that day, and that im the only one on the planet who recalls them....at all.

i admit that if kali doesnt focus on the fact that she is celebrating the love she has found....i may have to pay Red to kick her ass.

LinnaeaBorealis -> RE: I Admit It I........ (1/3/2010 11:47:19 AM)

Yanno, Perse I've been unemployed for a coupla months & could really use some extra cash.  So iffen you're gonna pay someone to kick Kali's arse, couldja pay me instead of Red.  I know, I know.  She has Things & all, but I can kick arse with the best of em, I swear!!!

I admit it I was feeling really good about the money I had planned out on spending on catering stuff until I read the thread abut Lushy's cooking.....Now I feel like we are having crap..

I admit it I fear I'm going to have to wear my pajamas because despite the fact that my sister said she is going to help me pay for my wedding dress, He is never going to think $600 is an appropriate amount of money to spend on a dress.

Okay, so let us help you out.  Give us some links to dresses that you like, so we can see what your style is, and maybe we can come up with some alternatives that you like.  For instance, I've seen the white or cream blouses and skirts at holyclothing.com used in weddings (the dresses aren't true to size, don't go there, just ask Hib).  They're beautiful, they're floor-length, some are simple, some are elaborate... and a top and bottom can be had for under $100 total.

As far as helping at the reception... what type of reception are you having?  Is it going to be buffet? Is it going to be a served meal by the plate?  Who is making the food?  What do YOU really want, and what would make your guests most comfortable?  For example, I know some families would faint at the idea of BBQ for a wedding; others wouldn't want it any other way.

Cali

lusciouslips19 -> RE: I Admit It I........ (1/3/2010 1:39:35 PM)

When seeing a thread about my cooking may I suggest(especially since its my favorite type of party) That a brunch party is actually quite elegant and can be less costly than dinner thats filled with more meat. Champane and oj, Chocolate covered stawberries are easy to make. and other elegant vittles.

Another thing is that getting a hall and paying for catering can be more costly then going to a restaurant that has special rooms for parties as its per person price ends up being the cost and the room is usually free.

If you can find a group of friends who would cater for you as a gift (or just you paying for the food cost) hint hint. A church with a hall and a kitchen may be the way to go.

Just wanted to add, Those egg souflees, eggs cheese milk and bread, Carmel french toast , eggs, milk, bread ,butter and brown sugar...

My point is an elegant brunch buffet is way cheaper than a sit down dinner with Filet mignon.

girly, off to look for a carmel french toast recipe.

i admit that the newsletter had a $5 off coupon for the first order over $29.99.

i admit that the coupon is good for 2 weeks.

AquaticSub -> RE: I Admit It I........ (1/3/2010 3:46:08 PM)

I admit I owe fluffy a phone call.

I admit that I really creeped out by information I just got from Wyld about someone talking about me...

I admit I may beg Valyraen very prettily to let me go get a treat at the store.
