This came up on another board.  It is no secret the monetary system is experiencing problems.   So what could you do?   What do YOU offer?  Now robbing and prostitution is not answer for this thread.  But could you literally sing for your meal?

Suppose you have no money, what talents can YOU offer in return for a meal?

This will be a fun thread- as we don't often think of things we can do.  :-)

Can and have sung for my supper. I've also sung for my liquor a time or two. Of course, at one time liquor WAS my supper.

I am a professional entertainer. I could definately perform for my meals. I could also work as a bouncer. I've had to do that between acting jobs too. Then there is ad writing since I've been writing stories and scripts since I was 10. If they'd let me, I'd have it covered.

Can and have sang for my supper. That was years ago when I was writing and performing my own songs. Now, since I work for a living I just sing covers for fun and a few spare bucks. I guess you could call that "singing for snacks."
Obviously, comedy writing isn't one of my talents! (Ba-doom-boom!)

It's against the law for me to sing (something about noise pollution and causing great bodily harm to ear drums) but, I'm an amateur magician, a fair juggler and I can tie knots in cherry stems with my tongue. Surely that's all worth a french fry or two! ::grins::

I could sing for my supper. I have in the past.  I can also dance, make balloon animals, paint faces (you know kid's party stuff) and give hair wraps. I can also make a mean espresso beverage. So you provide the meal I provide the non-alcoholic digestif !
