are there many people out there that have an obsession with being restrained....but not in fun but in a medical, psychiatric setting?....since I was about 10-12 years old I was fascinated and engrossed in seeing movies or reading books that involoved a man being restrained against his will by medical staff or even by "concerned" family/friends....especially when the ultimate motive of the restrainer(s) is for evil/cruel intentions.....please anyone that likes this or would like to do this to someone, let me know.

Most straitjackets don't allow for access to the fun bits. If I'm going to be in one, I'd prefer he be able to play with my breasts. I know I've seen ones that have zippers, but no idea where. Sorry for the hijack. The fact that you fantasize about this does make it a fun thing. And yes, people sell medical restraints, all kinds of medical equipment. However your best bet is to inquire among prodommes if they have this. These are pricy bits of equipment and not everyone will own one. If this is the only thing you are interested in, then finding a lifestyle domme will be very difficult. Most people want to be seen as individuals, wanted as a person, and not just to act out a specific fetish.

What your're describing is a subgenre of a medical fetish. I like medical bondage, but only if other aspects of the medical fetish are involved as well, such as needles and catheters and sounds and anal thermometers and speculums and any of the above electrified and, well, there is a lot involved in a medical fetish. :) The only part I don't really care about one way or the other are the uniforms. They don't do much for me.

Yes, others are into this. I don't know why, but we always think we have to be the only nut in the squirrel hut that likes such things. It just isn't so. The equipment is, like others have mentioned, very expensive though. The good news is that many hospitals just toss the stuff when it is not up to their standards anymore. It is still practically like brand new though. If you are not too embarrassed or have a connection, it is a great way to amass a collection for absolutely free. lovingpet

thanks for all the responses.....my interest is somewhat limited pretty much to the betrayal/helplessness feeling.....for a man to have his wife or for a person to have family go to great lengths to plot the committment of the person against their will is what intrigues me.....the subject (me) has no way out, at least temporarily and will be bound and transported against their will.....the drive to the hospital would be humiliating, and often times I would expect that the people in charge often "are" or "seem" to be cruel and that is the turn on for me. I somehow became wired to find eroticism and infatuation for the cruelty aspect. I am not into other off-shoots of this role-play. I dont want to be committed in reality but good role-play would create a close enough experience. If anyone has seen Rosemary's Baby or Hush Hush Sweet Charolotte those two movies hit it on point, two helplesss subjects facing involuntary committment from people who should be trustworthy. In Rosemary's Baby the subject is over-powered by men and women in her own bedroom and held down by several pairs of hands and administered a shot...one person I believe put a hand over her mouth.....thats all I need...to experience....also to hear people talking in the next room once I am restrained is great....they act like the subject is not worthy of respect and laughter can be heard or sadistic commentary and glances.....often times it has come to light that personnel in psychiatric settings are exposed as abusers, not just verbally but also physical and even financial. I have done quite a bit of reading on this and some states realize that some people seek such jobs because of the need to be empowered over mental patients. I know some would find that hard to believe but they discovered in retrospect that people have sought careers as orderlies (and such) so they can have "contol" over mental patients for sadistic reasons....and there are even undercover video of staff provoking patients to act up so they can then be restrained and force-fed, etc....other cases involve nursing homes where nurses actually manage to obtain money from patients....I could go on and on but of course this topic is a life-long one.

Helplessness, humiliation, and even betrayal are pretty common emotional fetishes. The twist of the psychiatric thing is also quite common. I am a little more prolific in my desires, but there are elements there that are intriguing to me personally on both sides. No, you aren't the only one. lovingpet

Lovingpet.....if you have not seen hush hush sweet charolotte rent it sometime....if you are a library goer...its free in many libraries in bay area.....another one is called Shock Treatment (1964ish) with Stuart Whitman....I bought that one its not readily available for rent anywhere that I know of....another good one....of course Snake Pit from long ago is available as rental....but the first one is classis mental abuse.....it was doeable in 60's in many states to commit somone for cruel/greed....that movie probably helped many mentally ill people as did Shock Treatment. I know for fact that the movie Shock Treatment pissed off a lot of the psychiatrists as it showed shock treatment as torture not as a therapy and of course shock treatment WAS used as torture all over and still is but more in other countries than in US.....the US cleaned up shock treatment fairly well but restraint devices are getting more elaborate so shock treatment isnt needed to control the violent....they can put a mask/shield over the face and put the "bad" ones in a roll-around chair that is pretty humiliating and I am sure as sh#^% that many use it as a fun time with the less fortunate....but I dont want it to happen to others but fantasize big-time that it happens to me....at the hand of cruel female nurse with an equally cruel male partner (or others)

Shock treatment isn't used to control someone with violent outbursts. It never was. It was a last ditch attempt to destroy the part of the brain that did not respond to treatment. Which then was solely talk therapy as SSRIs did not come on the market until the 1990's. Back in the mid 70's I tried to talk my doctor into doing this to me, because I suffered from chronic, clinical depression which frequently made me suicidal. Since at that point the amount of current and the length of the shock was much higher than it is today, it caused permanent damage to your memory. She refused to do so to a 16 year old Ivy League college student Today it is used only for patients with very severe symptoms who do not respond to medication. It has been used successfully in post partum psychosis. It has been used successfully in suicidal patients for whom SSRIs and the other mood altering medications do not work. If you are violent, that's what thorazine is for. And you can only be committed for 72 hours, plus you are entitled to legal counsel if you disagree with the decision to commit you. And you can only be committed for those 72 hours if you present a clear and immediate danger to yourself or others. Are there some people who should not be allowed to work in such hospitals? Obviously. There are bad eggs in all walks of life. Is it fair to smear every worker in a psychiatric unit? By no means.

Your profile sounds like you really need to pay a professional to do this for you. There are a lot of women into cuckolding, but the rest... well that's a LOT of work, emotionally draining, and tears up families for the people who AREN'T playing around. Just imagine how much effort this poor woman would have to go through to make you happy? What are her benefits unless she's a professional being paid to provide a service?

THANKS AGAIN FOR ALL THE RESPONSES.....anyone that wishes to expound, please send a msg somehow, I have posted a msg on intro area, please know that I cant be too too specific and I have more to say but will not be able to say too much more until someone may approach me in a way that there may be some type of "connection".....I am in northern Calif slightly north of SF so will only be more detailed if there is realistic possibility of meeing faceto face. I love to debate issues as much as anyone but time is running out on my life and I want to stop fishing and cut bait. I would consider a pro but I have enough to offer someone in a relationship that a pro is not what I am looking for really, at least as far as this post is concerned but I am all ears if a pro has something to propose. Since this is not the intro area, I will stop as I do not want to abuse this area for what may be developing into an intro post.

I can't tell you the equipment/supplies that are Mine now because they were no longer the standard use. In keeping with the thread, that includes medical restraints. The big, brown, thick types that can run quite a few dollars.

As a diagnosed schizophrenic I will admit that there are times when I've enjoyed being restrained and forcibly injected with antipsychotics in hospital settings, my fantasies were taken to reality seven or eight times and I'm never a "willing patient" simply because I want the expirience to be as satisfying to me as it is to the orderlies. The idea of being in a locked ward with all-mighty and powerful doctors, no control of the situation whatsoever, is a fantasy I have lived out over and over again. Sometimes whether I wanted to or not though...
