ghitaPVH -> profile pictures taken in hotel rooms.... (10/27/2009 7:05:36 PM)

Ya know...I used to wonder about all the people who's profile picture was obviously taken in a motel room...and I would question why they had to go to a motel to take a sexy photo of themselves.....

And now...Ive realized.....my profile picture was taken in a hotel....LMAO...ugh... Apparently real life does sneak up on you eventually and you become one of those people who has to run away from their own home with their husband just to have a fun weekend.......sigh...where will it all end....will i eventually be one of those people standing in a mirror taking their own photo with a cell phone?

I really doubt you'll have to worry about that. But, should it come to pass, please find a mirror in a room other than a bathroom.

:-)

Sneaky sneaky are the facts of life that creep all sleek and could possibly bring strife.

People like hotel rooms because the cleaning fae come in and make it all pretty pretty. And no one WANTS to know what is going on in there as opposed to home where they have thermal imaging cameras.... watching.
through the walls because they NEED TO KNOW.

(btw... did you get that cmail?)

To add to the OP's own reason of taking a pic in a hotel room.......

Some people do not play at home period due to little people who also call that "home".

At most major events where people are wearing the leather or fetish wear that they love, there is no personal photography in the main areas.  The only place that is left to take a pic is in the room.

A lot of pics are taken immediately after getting dressed but before going to an event.  (I don't know about anybody else, but My hair is a mess after I've been topping for a few hours.)

Often, a hotel is a stepping stone between public play and being invited into someone's home.

Hmm.

Whatever it is, it's guaranteed to make the most attractive woman look like she just got out of a shock therapy session, or a lemon-sucking contest.

Evidently, it's called the facebook/myspace pout.

Lovely. [:)]

Love the pic, Ghita... hotel room or not ;)

DesFIP -> RE: profile pictures taken in hotel rooms.... (10/28/2009 2:29:54 AM)

The scrunched face is an instinctive reaction when you realize someone is taking a picture of you without warning you. It isn't a true candid because they are aware of it and it isn't a posed pic because the photographer didn't tell them to smile for the camera. And what comes next is a complaint about sneaking up on people and taking their picture.

Actually, that's what most of the young ones (without a clue as to how stupid it makes them look) think is the hawt facial expression. It's performed by those incapable of understanding the subtle facial differences that make for the huge visual chasm between that fish-look, and a genuinely breathy pout, a la:

I suspect it comes from the Derek Zoolander/Hansel look.

Yeah, fuck you guys, I seen the movie (but I didn't cry when they bonded)

LOL,

Ron
