I agree, definitely a new hard limit. Never even tried my own, as far as I can remember, and intend to keep it that way.

Quite a while ago I read an article on a news feed (CNN I think..) that it has been found that ingesting your own is not dangerous and actually can help the body build immunities. It suggested that parents might not need to freak out seeing their kids picking and eating. So.. while socially it is not always accepted, from the health standpoint it might be good for you. I have never been asked to do such a thing so not sure how I feel about it.

I'm surprised you haven 't checked with him and no one has suggested this, but is it possible he said this to get you to quit munchin on your own nose nuggets? If it was an unpleasant idea for you, he might figure you would think twice before slurpin (especially around him) and chance giving him ideas about cleaning his nose too while you were at it. After all, maybe it bugs him you do this, and this was his way of lettin ya know.

A homeopathic Doctor told me that it is good for your immune system to eat your boogs. So is drinking a small amount of YOUR OWN urine mixed with water. As long as both are "fresh" you won't hurt yourself.

Oh dear people!!!! No, no, no, in the name of everything good and pure, NO!!!! I don't want anything to do with snot! My limits are pretty few and more or less nonexistant with my partner, but oh no, no way, nope. This one's just not happenin! Thankfully, it is one of the very few things that ick him out too, so I have no worries. And, agirl, scabs and pus????? Oh dear me! [:'(] Call me a wuss, but this thread managed to capture most of the small handful of things I just don't have the constitution to handle. Sorry! lovingpet who is now getting a shower and not quite sure why

Nice bit of analysing there, but no... if He would be bothered by me picking my nose then He would just tell me to quit it... He would never pussy foot around with elaborate plans...that is more my way of doing things... never gets me far though... besides... i have caught Him picking and eating at times too... in 18 years ...i think it's 19 almost, you do see most everything i believe... I just think He's messing with me... but if i let on that i think it's just messing He might feel the urge to just prove me wrong... Maybe i should inform Him that to get ready for this honourable task i shall now start training and eat as many of my own as often as i can... Or maybe i should just keep very quiet about it and He might forget His plan... maybe really He thinks it's rather gross too.
