Two mouths ago I had my first scene. The scene involve flogging, paddling and wartenberg pinwheels. The Dom stop the scene. I was feeling stranger. My body was cold expex my butt I was shaking a lot, feeling week, talking a lot, asking questions,looking around a lot. I was feeling confuse. The Dom did give me after care and watching over me till I got back my strength to get up from the horse. For two mouths I have been wounder what happen that day. So what im asking is was this subspace?

Quite possible. It also sounds somewhat like a blood sugar drop. Both can happen at the same time or independently and they can look and feel remarkably similar. Have you had blood sugar issues in the past? Had you eaten well before you played? If both are yes, then I would suspect you did hit a level of subspace. If either are no, I'd be sure to eat amply prior to playing next time and/or keep an eye on your health condition just in case. Was it a good trip? I hope it was bliss! lovingpet

Were you in restrictive bondage for an extended time? Sometimes when I'm unable to move for a long time and I'm experienced heightened sensory play, I'll get the same feelings.

It wasn't easy to work out what you were trying to say OP. Spell-checker could be your best friend! Between mouths and horses I was getting lost there! However, it sounds like it could have been the earlier stages of subspace that you experienced. In deeper subspace the sub typically goes quiet, unable to say much at all. Given that you are new at this, the Dom was probably right to stop the scene when they did and give you aftercare. It seems you must have had a certain level of trust with this Dom in order to be able to relax enough to space a bit. I see in your profile you are also interested in learning to be a Dom. Given you have been able to experience this for yourself, it can only help you to observe and understand a bit more of what a sub might be experiencing at your hands. Also, just because you've been able to bottom during play and experienced subspace doesn't mean you aren't also cut out to be a Top or perhaps a Dom. People can be both, they are not exclusive! I think the experience of sub space is different for each and every one of us, as we are all different. Me, it lasts for days, and I like it, because I move from a often negative demeanour to an open minded and happy demeanour, it is good for people around me. I think I retreat into my mind, the body becomes like a vehicle I am driving, and the mind is sampling everything that comes into contact and with an open mind, letting it pass without being judged.

From the perspective of shivering, feeling weak, disorientation, it sounds to me you were having a big adrenaline reaction. It could be the pin wheels as certain people react to needle penetration of the skin with a big over reaction from adrenaline. It sounds like the Dom intervened, rightly so because you were new to him, he wanted to see how big a reaction you might have before doing any more. You could easily pass out in this way, so I think you should avoid needle play and pin wheels altogether until you know for sure if you are a rapid adrenaline reactor. If you are, you will have to get trained to tolerate it so your body is gradually introduced to the idea. If you pass out while playing with pin wheels with a dom, or get chest pains, palpitations or even vomiting from adrenaline, don't forget he is responsible for your safety as well as your pleasure so I would be careful to set a very cautious pace the next time.

Oh how terrible research is.... [:D]
