I feel like that any time I eat. It can be half a biscut and I am in agnony. I can't imagine someone wanting to feel like this.

The pro-ana on here is true..I've bumped into a couple that's on this site and talk about it in their profiles.

I think somewhere it was written that suggesting a fetish on the Internet causes it to come into existence.

Anyway, not to say it's not already out there, but purely out of curiosity I was talking with a friend today and I can honestly say this is one type of pain that I've never heard anyone talk about being into: that disgusting feeling you get after you overeat or force food.

That really shitty "I don't even want to move and my stomach hurts" kind of pain.  I've never heard a masochist tell me "I really want to force down 20 hot dogs so I can masturbate to the pain of feeling sick to my stomach."  Are these people out there?  Has anybody ever even heard of this?  Do masochists exist that want to be tied down and force fed?

Just some food for thought. (*groan*)

Bulimics like this as part of the gorge/purge cycle.
Feeling engorged with food ends a feeling if numbness and is usally then followed by disgust followed by the need to control and purge.
This might be considered a compulsion rather than a consensual experience.

the argument from those that oppose the practice was whether participation was driven by the compulsion/disorder versus the dominant party. they believed the submissive would continue this behavior even if the dominant wasn't controlling it. which refuted the necessity for consent at all.

No consent? With a disorder? *shakes head* - how is that sane (no pun intended).

Think it's called a feeding fetish. May or may not go hand in hand with sploshing (throwing, squishing, rolling in and generally covering yourself or others in food for pleasure).

:D Very funny from a stranger, but I'd want that, actually, in a partner.

i assume the consent comes from their willingness to allow him to control their behavior in relation to the disorder. through goal setting and movement towards an agreed upon physical state. in many respects he validates their conscious decision to remain this way and his intervention is maintenance oriented instead. it is meant to increase their proficiency in the disorder, rather than overcome it. i would gather he would have to be pro-thin for this to feasibly work. this is not a waifish sort of thin, but the sort of thing you'd see from someone en route to or giving a visible appearance of starvation.

i think it highlights the importance of understanding the mental side of both participants. particularly if food consumption and physical movement are going to be surrendered. if the submissive has had issues in this area and is involved with someone that validates distorted thinking or perpetuates it through his unhappiness with her appearance, unlikely consequences can result. acceptance of one's body image is a struggle for many. positive gains can be made that are beneficial for health and aesthetic reasons. however, most persons that have an unhealthy relationship with food from a mental standpoint will never confess it openly. while they may choose not to act on the behavior in a self-destructive manner, that does not imply that the thoughts are non-existent.

Way back in 1973 there was a succesfull movie about that theme that ran in the reguler theatres all over Europe: "La Grande bouffe". Contraversiol at that time, but everyone wanted to see it (like Emmanuelle, about the same time).

Story: "A group of men ( Marcello, a pilot; Michel, a television executive; Ugo, a chef; and, Philippe, a judge hire some prostitutes and go to a villa in the countryside. There, they engage in group sex and resolve to eat themselves to death.  Three prostitutes make it through a day or two; Andrea, a local school teacher, stays to the end. The villa, the food, and a Bugati roadster are essential props."
Actors like Marcello Mastrioianni, Michel Piccolli and Philippe Noiret were serious actors who never played in a porn movie. They made it a serious film about sex and food and gave the whole movie a boost so that it could be regarded as a "normal" movie about a special situation.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0070130/

Personally, I thought the film was above all boring. It's worth knowing because of the momentum in time where nakedness became normal and people went a few steps further. The film was accepted by the public, but a lot of discussion followed. Just what we needed at that time.

the term for anorexics is pro-ana. there's quite a bit of information available on the phenomenon. i do recall oprah doing a special years ago about this. it would seem it has seeped into bdsm circles as well. i have encountered profiles before and i'm not opposed per se, because these are adults. on the other hand it is very sad and leaves one to wonder who's the more fucked up portion of the pairing.

porcelaine

I think you ment to say "people who fetishize anorexia"....because it sounds like your implying all anorexics are pro-ana.

no i did not. the comment was in reference to my original statement about people that make a lifestyle choice to maintain eating disorders. it does not need to be a fetish for the term to be applicable. pro-ana is the proper term for anorexia. bulimics utilize pro-mia instead. pro-ana adherents can be presently anorexic or adopting the lifestyle for weight loss purposes.
