That was a fast 3 years huh!? I think it's at 3 that people start referring to their children's ages in years instead of months. We'll still celebrate personally on the 17th of every month, but I guess its time to switch to years for disclosure purpose.
Seems I've loved and known you forever. Seems like the every touch has the excitement of the first. It seems like the time I didn't know you was so long ago; yet the years have passed so quickly. Our 'minor' anniversary, the day we got married in front of our family & friends. The fun party game we played with our lifestyle friends, telling them that there were others there with the task to find them before the party was over.
As the sun set on a beautiful September evening, we stood before them all. Not really needing the ceremony to make legitimate what we, and anyone who knew us already knew; but something that turned out to mean more than perhaps either of us thought it would. The evening was perfect; you in a beautiful sparkling gown for the mixed group gathered to witness, naked of course underneath. you, smart enough to know that the vows we wrote for that day should be short and to the point. Me thinking that I would have no problem proclaiming to the world, at length, what you meant to me. Which of course, resulting it me blubbering like an idiot. I'm sure I'll blubber again when we watch the video together tonight.
What I remember most about the words we said was the look in your eyes as we said them. Although not through the same veil of emotional tears; I see that same look every second that we are together. I hope its the last thing I see before I die.
A day to let the world know what we already did - our souls found our purpose when we found each other.
My apology to the skeptics. There is a 'Soul-Mate', there is a 'One'. There is one person who can fulfill ALL your needs, all your fantasies, and lets you live the wildest dream you could image. beth is mine. I too was a skeptic...
...until I met her.
