Status: offline 		War certainly dehumanizes people, but when you're already an ignorant, barbaric savage to begin with, I don't think it's the war that's to blame.

Status: offline 		I know some mild set up had occurred in the US years ago.    Nothing as extreme tho.

I ran an ad recently- indicated "someone that can carry a conversation".   The replies were dismall.   On the one hand...at least I have some looks about me.  On the other hand-  I don't have time for the quickie only types.

Even tho it could be fun,  I try to self respect myself. (these days)

Status: offline 		No, but the scale at which it's happening in Iraq is dismaying. The Guardian piece estimates that 130 people have been killed this year alone.

Status: offline 		When the Russian theater was stormed - a few years back there was a report of abuse to the gays  in the theater district.   I suppose it is just common in war.

The Russian thing- was a curious resolve - the way the govt gassed the people with opiates. LOL.  hmm. creative.  Bob Chapman says the Russians are intelligent people.
