For about the past week, my collarme has been SLOW on and off.  I assume that everyone else has seen the same thing?

It's always slow (slowest web site of all that I visit) but yes, it has been a bit more so lately.

I found collarme superslow this week, many times it timed out and had a message from collar me saying it apologised for the technical issues...I thought it was because of extra users online and at the times when most workers get home/ and go online...but it seems the same issues were over there.

My guess is they were doing some maintenance to the server(s), and like the rest of you, yes there were periods of aggravating slowness.

It's traditionally slow from around 3 am - 6 am est. I assume they do server maintenance at that time.

FR, after read thru

Yep, I find it's regularly tediously slow during the wee hours, Cali time . . . . .

The CollarChat home page, down where it lists all the users who're logged in, sez that there was a peak of a bit over 19,000 viewers / users, a coupla years ago; when it gets sluggish here I wonder how the servers handled that number . . . . . .

I haven't noticed it being particularly slow recently, but I've been spending rather minimal amounts of time here . . . . . .

EXTREMELY slow for me today and all week - on multiple computers from multiple ISPs.  What is going on?  5 minutes of wait time to get to this topic to post 2 lines?

Right now i've got collarchat on two windows and alternating between them so i don't get too frustrated.

i guess this is one of those time the changes are not "transparent to the user"!

It's always been one of the slowest websites I visit, and I agree that it seems worse lately. I figure it is what it is, and don't invest a lot of time pondering the issue. Of the few times I've asked the administrators any sort of technical questions, I usually get either no response or some snippy, condescending snarkism, so I don't even bother asking anymore.

I'm glad you mentioned it.  We've had some internet connection issues since we moved and I thought at least part of the problem was on this end.

Kia, I've definitely noticed a slowing during those hours that you mention.  It's funny because I didn't seem to notice them before.  It usually starts just after midnight and is worse that usual for about an hour or so.

I thought it was a problem with my computer when I logged on a couple times. I was having problems with my computer I found out. All fixed now.

The up side to both, it helped motivate me to spend most of my long weekend outdoors. I have been riding my young horse and my whole body hurts. I am the one moving slow this morning.

i'm not having computer issues, but collarchat has ALWAYS given me fits.

over half the time i cannot read the off topic discussion page.  and when it shows a blank page and i back up (back a page) i find its thrown me out of the site entirely.  i'm no longer logged in...but when i go back to collarme and start over, i'm still logged in.

and i HAVE reset the computer, tossed the cookies, emptied the temp internet files, and it doesnt seem to do a thing.

i dunno.
