So, essentially if you are selling an e-book fixed price you would list 10 or whatever number in the one listing(still cost .35 per month whether you list 1 or 1000 available in a stingle listing). As in pay for one fixed price listing for .35 that contains 10 items for sell. You don't want to list a 1000, as for some reason listings that give the illusion even if thin of limited availability sale better. So, if someone bought one of your 10 e-books by mistake, the other 9 would still be available, and if you familiarize yourself with the cancel transaction link above you'll get all fees back for dead beat bidders. You shouldn't lose money on e-books for bad buyers.

Actually I am pretty excited 2 of my titles have picked up. I might actually make a few bucks. Yay. I hear that alot about feedback. I have like 115 purchases and what ever sellers 100%. I have been throwing in a bonus or 2 so as to build good will. As I know how it is to be sort of disappointed with a book- if one gets 3 titles they seem to be iterested in- 1 is likely to be a good find.

Check other peoples ads and borrow their keywords for your E-Bay ad. I have been a E-Bayer for several years and since the economy nose dived so did E-Bay. Not everyone can invest in Antiques and Collectables at this time.
Speaking of Silver get a metal detector, lol. I got a 1876 CC Seated Quarter last week doing a beach. In August and September I scored 3 Standing Liberty Quarters detecting.

Oh wow. Ok- so sales on ebay are down. I only got into it because my friend in Los Angeles urged me to.

We will see how it goes. No doubt the market changes. I think there is a curiosity toward the rare hard to find stuff.

Funny how Standing liberties get sometime even more then Barbers. hmmm

I just started selling on EBay myself , there is a few bucks to be made . Although its Work , scrounging yard sales , auctions, estate sales, knowing the market value and buying Cheap , I would not quit my full time job LOL , but a fun profitable hobby at times. GOOD LUCK !

Let me try to explain better, getting your items in the right categories and using the right keyword helps seekers find your item. Otherwise they could miss the item, make sure you use the correct spelling, it could get missed also.

Good idea with the detector. All the hardwork aside, any finds you sell upon the bay, look at it as 100% profit.

Let's see... words that work on e-bay...

"Vintage" ... means anything over a year old.
"Classic" ...if it's a movie, it's black and white, if it's a book, then the cover is worn.
"Rare" .... means there are only 300 others like it listed today.
"Good Condition" ...means it's still in one peice, just ignore the teeth marks where the dog got ahold of it.
"Slightly Worn" ... it's in several peices
"Free shipping" ... the price has been jacked up to cover it already.
"One of a kind" ... the item has been either pissed on, or else the kid dumped his baby food on it.
"Fast shipping" ... You'll get it just a couple days AFTER your friend's birthday, whom you were buying it for in the first place.

LOL. Thank you. I was wondering what your myspace page had to do with it. :-)

BTW_ firefox has an addon- I avoid myspace due to all the stuff that loads- to let the vids and music to load the firefox thing allows you to - well you have to click for it to play. hence - no more crashing- yay.

People do want things yesterday.   I do not want to open a can of worms- but someone did advise me- that I am doing something illegal- per copy write.       I do not want to get into a debate over this.   In all likelihood - a stop is in the very near future.

So knowing this- I don't particularly want to put alot into it.

As it is- ebay BANNED 2 titles even tho Amazon sell the exact same thing!       So- like I said- the project will be short term.

It almost seems the stupider the title the more interest. lol.

bad weather system coming to PA.

Hey- I talked to mom, she said the guy on TV said gold was a good investment.    Oh man. I almost fell over. lol

Something i've started trying to do on the smaller items is give "free postage."

You are right about people wanting things yesterday, free postage,

seems to lessen their urgency.

I am going CRAZY!

Man- .16 cents- and that will be a complainer. I can not find the pfd I sold- and others are not getting thru.

I think the buy it now will work better. So much for multi tasking!! lol

umm.... not exactly. Completely different platform, completely different marketing. Craigslist is geared toward local sales, local searches, and fixed price (sometimes negotiable) pricing. While ebay is a worldwide auction platform. Unless you use a third party search service, you'll never find anything on craigslist unless you search ALL cities one at a time. Now that's a great use of the power of internet marketing!
