i know i haven't posted in awhile due to issues on the forums, but this question has been haunting me for a long time. Why is it that most of the Pro-Dommes (i did say 'most') on CM look like models?

Also, the ones that are "online only, paypal tribute nao plz" are pixies on the internet. Imagine them to be whatever you want. Personally, if some woman was going to abuse my wallet and treat me like dirt, she better be the most beautiful thing I've ever seen.

i don't believe in paying to play when there's so many Dommes out there that would rather have a submissive for their minds and personalities. i suppose they have their uses though...if someone wasn't serious about being a real submissive though...just being a 'weekend warrior' as it were.

Considering that most of the Pro Dommes I know both on line and in real life both have a sub/slave collared to them and that most of their paying clients are not part of the regular BDSM lifestyle but are casual for any number of reasons it makes sense that they prefer to pay for what they want to receive without any long term or emotional attachment. Certainly the ones I know in real life are not unattractive women. That too is part of their stock in trade. As an aside, one Pro Domme is as ugly as one of MacBeth's Witches/Hags on the blasted heath. Interestingly enough, she is booked 6 months ahead all the time. Even more interestingly her sister is a prostitute and makes even the hags look good and she too in on constant demand with mostly advanced bookings.

Dismissing beauty as "not real" is rather narrow, don't you think? Physical attractiveness is important to us as a species; we are visual creatures. It doesn't take much common sense to know it is valuable in a woman's (or man's) ability to charm and seduce.

We do seem to have a love hate relationship with beauty in modern culture, however. Perhaps we come to see beauty as a facade—a front for t.v. commercials and billboard ads and portrayals of perfect lives—replete with empty seduction. A backlash logic seems to have arisen among us in some ways, where ugly or "dressed down" is correlative with "more real". Nonsense. Don't ever underestimate the power of beauty in the right hands.
