What  made you choose the pictures you had on your profile.? And if so, what do you like and don't like about the ones you have seen out here?

I have noticed the creativitiy of some people have really been amazing .But some of the profile pictures really are so honest you just have to give them  cuddos for being up front about what they look like. And while a picture does not really  give you an entire "picture " of the real person, it certainly lets you know if there is an attaction  to start. What is it you look at or want ot put in your picture that mattered to you ?  If you don't have a ;picture up like myself, what pictures out here do you really admire out here the most?

If im going to mention specific posters, I love the.darkness' and Mr Darcy's pictures they are so beautiful. I don't really look out for pictures specifically but I am drawn to arty ones I guess. Mine is just one I liked really, a recent one, photo shopped up to make it more unusual

I like althatjaz' and Sunnyfey's pics, as well as GreedyTop's and Prinsexx' pics.

For privacy reasons, I didn't want to use a profile picture which showed my face and my other body parts really aren't worth showing off. For a long time, I didn't have a picture but then a post here made me realize that people will remember others better with a picture. The frog with a crown seemed to go with my nick. It woud take a woman with a sense of adventure to try kissing the frog to see if there really is a prince there.

I like creative photos where I look at it and think to myself, how did they do that, how did they get that affect, where was the lighting, etc etc?  I am not here looking to see what anyone looks like, therefore, I don't much care if someone's photos are mysterious and unclear, I just like creative ones.

From time to time I've had a couple of photos up of myself, but I make sure they are obscure.  I really am not all that comfortable identifying myself for masses of people that I don't know personally.  That's not out of fear or shame of being here, it's more a privacy issue for me.

FR: Why? Because I'm not easily recognized.
Others? Some are adorable some are wow then there're others I wish I had never seen.
I like photos with class or photos that are different, taken at a rare angle, different lightning or the person is able to create a connection between them n the camera.

If I see a boob pic that's just..that..look at mi booooobies then I just think whatever floats your boat girlfriend and click the hide button. I'm not even going to start talking about cock shots.. or the pics where another person is cut out ooooooor not to mention is with the person ON that pic..do they know where their pic is being used?!!!

oh..and did I mention goofy pics? I love those!

I love unusual photos, Subtle Awesomeness has one I like. Aileen always has cool photos. I adore sexy black and whites that remind me of old photos of the 20's and 30's.

As much as I love pretty photos, I put a plain and honest one of myself up. no photoshop or anything. I wasn't going to put one up at all then thought, "I like seeing who I am talking to, I will make sure others can see the snarky bitch writing all this."

I so agree with the desire for mystery. Ms Flutter is one of those pictures that makes you wounder about what  "we can't see".

my avatar is a reflection of mood and always a representation of something personal. changes can be temporary or long lasting depending on the direction i'm heading. the pictures i enjoy most are those that make me smile, not for aesthetic reasons but merely because the image conveys something deeper that highlights their substance.

I'm partial to mine because, while it has many components, it makes no promises and suggests no specific results.

They're up to date, relevant and resemble how I look in reality.

Anything which shows integrity, character and taste.

What I don't like? There's obvious things, people who don't give much thought to their photos, tits hanging out, dongers, hairy asses, excess flab spilling out over ill-fitting clothing, domly poses (especially those who look as if they're trying to shit themselves), people who have to show off their entire collection of toys, and there's others which I cannot understand such as those who stand 200 yards from the camera so you have to play 'Spot the Person'. Other than that I'm prepared to accept that people are free to upload whatever images they like.

Maybe it's just me but the only information I glean from photos is what someone looks like. I base my decision on whether to want to get to know them better on what they write and how they communicate and long distance aside I'm prepared to wait until I meet them in person before I decide whether I'm really attracted to them or not.

Not everybody has or can afford a digital camera or has the ability to take good photos of themselves and this is something I always bear in mind when looking at profiles.

The way I see it you can go in one of either two directions - you can be honest or you can be ostentatious not just about your profile photos but also about the entire image you project outwards online.

I prefer the former and go for accuracy and what you see here is more or less what I'm like in reality. People rarely see you the way you see yourself and while you can sell yourself by creating an image or an impression you also leave yourself open for the shortfall on the offchance that your efforts have either been misinterpreted, not acknowledged or the other person is disappointed with the reality.

Admire is probably too strong but will mention those that appeal to me in some way. I could probably list so many, but those that come to mind (to give others a few examples) include Politesub53, CreativeDominant, Lockit, Darcyandthedark, DarkSteven, DemonKia, DiurnalVampire, lally2, Apocalypso among others which I could also mention.

Its the best pic of me on my computer. Its a few years old but is still a good representation....there's a bit more grey and at the moment the hair is a bit longer but with me hair length goes from zero to past the shoulders back to bald again.I let it grow till I get the urge to cut it so sometimes it gets pretty long and other times its really short....it all depends on the relative position of the sun and the moon. But over all that's what I look like.

Why did I pick the picture I did as my main profile picture?... Mostly because the Hoberman Sphere thing is pretty nifty.

Three years ago I put this pic up as my main pic, and it does a good job of catching people's eye. So even though the rest of my pics are newer, I still keep it up. Unfortunately 99% of messages I get are people that tell me how much they loved the V For Vendetta movie, and I have to break the news that at the time the pic was taken I'd never seen it, that it was part of a friend's art project, and that now that I've seen the movie I think it's pretty overrated.

I've always gotten a kick out of DarkSteven's pic, because it so resembles George Clooney in Syriana. FirmHandKY's makes me laugh, especially when he tears into a newer poster. It's that much more appropriate.

Mine is me, only photoshopped and cropped.  It still looks close enough to me so that people who meet me will recognise me, and yet not enough so that if you happened to catch me on the street without a deliberate meeting set up, I would blend into the crowd.
I like most pics on CM because they put a face to the dialog
