I don't know, I would probably do it even if I didn't cheat. It sounds kind of fun to me.

The following was shown on our local tv news tonight and is in the Washington Post.l  Humiliation anyone?
  • A pissed off wife made her cheating husband stand at the corner of Leesburg Pike and International Drive in Tysons Corner this morning while wearing a sign that read, "I CHEATED. THIS IS MY PUNISHMENT.  Clicking on "wearing a sign" takes you to the whole article, complete with video.

  • I personally do not care one way or another. If, however I was one who believed that her right to practice her lifestyle choices stops the moment she enters a public area where she has not received consent by all who viewed this display. I would see her as mentally deficient individual who lacked common sense as well as courteously for those she subjected to her immature exhibition

I really think she told him this to get him to think he can save the marriage, and is planning on a divorce anyway.  I can't prove it yet, of course, but if she does, it'll be clear she just wanted revenge, nothing else.  I think she probably just wants that anyway.

I hate to get into this, but I really think if you had a man doing this to a cheating wife it would be called abusive.  It just doesn't seem like something people would let go then.  I can't prove THAT either, but it's a feeling I get.  It seems like emotional abuse to me.

I do not condone cheating in any way, in fact I despise cheating, particularly adultery in marriage.  However, I really wonder if this woman is sane.

That is all she did?  I would be getting a lawyer real quick.

That or she threatened to walk away with every single penny he has and the children unless he did it and if that's true the courts will have a field day on the day of divorce!

Why has this kind of nastiness become socially acceptable behavior?

Remember the scorned wife that ran over her spouse with car, and ran over him again, and again, and again, etc.,,,and got off (insanity plea)

An elaborate but neither innovative nor creative ploy to capture attention. The question becomes did it and/or will it further a hidden financial interest?

If you read it again, it was a hoax set up by the local radio station. But if it were true I feel it would be in bad taste to air your private life in such a public way----can anyone say DRAMA. However since many people thrive on drama.....
