Bet no one would believe given my banter as of late that I'm just sad. Yes, this is a hugfest thread, so what??? It has just been too much time and space now and I miss my partner something awful. If I say anymore than this I will be crying yet again. I know folks have been there and are enduring much worse than I am. Hugs for those having to spend time apart! I feel your pain!

I feel your pain.  Mine is deployed, won't be back until March.  For some reason Sundays are always the hardest days of the week.   Trust me I've had PLENTY of pity parties, sorry you have to be a part of it too.

Hugs back at ya DJ! I feel like such a wimp sometimes. It's been about 4 whole weeks. I know, pitiful! I really feel for those of you with your partners deployed or continents away. I know I would be a mess!

I know why Sundays always seem to hit me so hard, but still.... ouch

Well Sunday nights have always sucked for me any way...lol  But I think it hits me hard now because every time he's had to leave it's been on Sunday.  He's been gone for about three months and I fall apart on a regular basis...lol

I know what you mean about being a wimp...I mean I'm a pretty strong person, not much gets to me, and it shocks the hell out of me how many times I've been in the fetal position in the last three months...lol

Hopes yours will return soon.

We chat most nights, though this week has been a bit rough with storms, internet issues, and my being sick all week. Sunday is just a day I have a lot of stuff upon me and it can get very tough, like it did today. I considered running away from home for a day or two! LOL If I'd known for sure it would have been okay, my bags would have been packed in a flash! Soon I will have to hope...

We need something fun to do on Sundays so we don't get all bummy. I know! Naughty scrabble at my place!

lol...I think you would have the advantage, I can't seem to concentrate on anything lately...lol

Mine is doing intense training in another state, I will be going there this week for a few days, then the following week he will be going overseas for six months, so my widdle brain is pretty much toast.

Add to that, he's been out of touch for about two or three weeks and I"m going totally nutso

I totally agree about finding something fun to do on Sundays...maybe in a month or two I can pull my head out and try it...lol

If you run away from home let me know how that works out, I think I might try it myself..lol

Funny to think of sending someone back to a war zone more marked up than when he left.  LOL.

LOL...that's what I'm thinking of doing.  I'll probably go on Wed.  like 3am....I'll give us one day of smooches, but on Thurs I'll be giving him something to remember me by...lol

Hope yours doesn't have to be there long after he goes back....that war zone thing is nerve racking...

Cloudz makes a good point there.

I too feel lost without my sir but at least I know he is safe and well. We live 200 miles apart and have been trying to get our own place for a few years now.
I miss him so much it hurts.
I long to surve him in person too, to take care of his needs and (selfishly) see his smile in return.
