Anyone?  What is the question, right?  Although there is variation I think we are hardwired for a M/f roles.  In homosexual relationships there is still a partner who evolves into a dominant role, one which could traditionally described as male.

Well I am sure this has already been said, but some males will be dominant, and some will not, some females will be dominant, while others will not. I believe that upbringing as well as enviorment help shape us to be whatever we turn out to be

Anywho Esinn, the only thing I agree with in your post is that there is always some form of power dynamic in relationships. Other than that its all rubbish. Firstly the whole biological argument is very questionable, socialisation happens post birth. I think what you actually need to do is look up anthropology, look at some eastern cultures, then come back to me and tell me men are naturally leaders. I feel you.  I am neither sexist or racist.... I was placing a personal musing here for review.  I am always open to being incorrect. I did my best to briefly sum up the, "why I am not". . .

Well not quite, you were placing an opinion framed as fact which was actually inaccurate, there is a subtle difference. Sexism means to judge/oppress/discriminate based upon sex, just for future reference. Trying to make it historical actually does not mitigate that.

I did, and my conclusion is that it's a bunch of pseudo-scientific nonsense. Sociology has far more to do with it than "evolution" or being "hard wired." Even so, not all men are dominant within a given culture, and a dominant personality isn't the same thing as being drawn to D/s. Besides, if you were right, there wouldn't be anything to drive a woman to submit to you in particular - after all, if she's submissive to all men, what makes the interaction with you any different/special?

Since we tend to put more into the evolution of our minds than our genitals, I think I'll find something a bit more enlightened.  Something with some better grammar, perhaps.

I'm still left with the feeling that you believe that anyone with a dick is naturally dominant. Anyone with a cunt has to evolve into a dominant position. Right or wrong?

HBE, Human Evolutionary Behavior, it is a sociobiology. Some interesting stuff but it will be thousands of years before many of the theories are proven true or false though.

While I appreciate you linking the main page to the site, there was no specific article referred.  I'm sure they do have wonderful theories.  I'm just one of those silly folks who prefer facts.

I was giving you a tool, do what you want with it. There is no single article that proves or disproves anything, as everything is still in the research stage. Since evolution takes thousands of years, the social behavior of humans will take a long time to track, and decide which of the theories is correct or not. Most of the theories are based in factual studies, but like with much of science, different conclusions are reached depending on many factors.

As far as facts go, even gravity is not a fact and can be anomolous, just look into the pioneer theory. beyond that it comes down to using the scietific method to prove and disprove small parts of anything, and from that try and reach conclusions.

HBE is relatively new and studies some of the pschological evolution of humans, based upon sociological impacts (nurture) and biological drives (nature). Many are papers and articles written concerning how each impact the other.

I am going to overlook the last comment, and write it off as a bad mood on your part. Hope your day gets better.
