OttersSwim -> Needles, Endorphin Buttons, Fire and Blood Cupping...oh my!!!! (8/13/2009 10:21:23 PM)

So at a camping event this past weekend, I had the pleasure of experiencing my first needle play, fire cupping, and blood cupping...all at once!  We did a crossed needle endorphin button, then pulled it and used a fire cup to draw blood...much fun and such a rush!

Posted pics of it in my profile...and yes, some of the first pics of me all girlie and such.  Enjoy!  [;)]

The sensation of the needles was really quite awesome - very different from anything I have done before, and I see why they call that over/under needle arrangement an endorphin button!

Would love to hear from others about needles and cupping play, what you think about it, and your experiences.  [:)]

Wow Otter!  Now there's a mouthful!  I'm glad you had a chance to experience all of these things.  I had a feeling when seeing some of your reactions at Thunder, it wouldn't be long before you were going to want to do these things for yourself.  Call it intuition.

I wish you and your Lady were closer to Me so we could compare notes and techniques.  There's always fun to be had.

I'm so glad you got to do this!

Hi Otter

Lovely pictures and you look gorgeous btw [;)]

Steve and myself do a lot of needles and blood letting but up until recently were pretty hopeless at getting the fire cups to work. That was until we got some good advise of LP (thanks LP ) on how to make them stick and suck correctly.

I personally like to do this in a tranquil setting and use pure meditation. We burn candles, play soft music and burn sage (Even better if its in the tepee).
Once in the right head space i find I can take a great deal.

I'm so glad that I was able to be of assistance, Maria.  You are absolutely welcome and if there is ever anything I can do to help in any area, just shoot Me a message.

i am a nurse so i was wary of needles for a bit, now i do enjoy them and cutting as well. it was such a rush when  i did my first needles. and of course the fire play  is so much fun as is candling, should have seen my 40th i was my own candelabra.for me if i get to play first flogging and such the fire and candles are so much more fun. i cant wait till i get home on leave to play some more

Thanks LP thats always nice to know. I was ready to throw those class cups at the wall until you came to the rescue [:)]

Interesting point about the initial flogging LPslittleclip. It makes sense to get those endorphins moving first.

The needle work and cupping was done by a dominant friend (Hi Gary!) who is really knowledgeable about all this stuff.  The needles were just 22s, but perfect for my first experience.

For the fire cupping, he used an alcohol foam on the inside rim of the glass.  The foam sticks to the glass and is easier thereby to get suction.  A dollop about the size of a smallish strawberry is what he used, lit it up, then stuck it over the puncture to get it to draw the blood out.  At Thunder, he did a girl's back with like 163 fire cups!  She looked like she had been wrapped up by an octopus!

Maria, I agree that the experience is better in a calm setting.  We did mine right after we did a kinky tea ceremony where our hostess was dressed in rope and had needles in her breasts.  Low tables, candles, and dark woods all round...it was magical!  [:)]

So happy for you!! I hope it was everything you wanted it to be and more :)

You know, we figured out because I have such little flat surface on my back *is a very tiny girl* that we have to use shot glasses for fire cupping with me? funny stuff.

Needles & cuttings are among my favorites too.  Glad you enjoyed them..   I'm heading over to check the pics, now.

What is an endorphin button, exactly, anyway? (I did look at the pic.. is there something in there?)

lovingpet -> RE: Needles, Endorphin Buttons, Fire and Blood Cupping...oh my!!!! (8/14/2009 7:39:45 PM)

Sounds like soooooo much fun and a glorious time! I'm all envious and stuff! Maybe you and yours can join me and mine sometime. That would be so very splendid! But alas, the miles separate......

So the two crossed needles are called an endorphin button as  you have to put one in under the other and thereby go deeper.  They hurt and dominant folk like to do all sorts of things to them - like put rubber bands around them, push in on them, hit them with floggers, and other fun things that really can cause a rush of endorphins in the person wearing the needles.  [&:]

Absolutely a coffee worth having, lovingpet.  Meeting Otter and his Lady was one of the highlights of My trip across the country.

Prinsexx -> RE: Needles, Endorphin Buttons, Fire and Blood Cupping...oh my!!!! (8/15/2009 11:24:45 AM)

I love needles. In my experience needles 'hurt' far less than say the pain of whips or canes.
In the exact right place through the skin the chemical releases is mind blowing.
As with acupuncture, the absolute right place on the skin is a mtter fo feeling where te most surfact tension is at the surface of the skin.
Blood letting is not usually a problem until needles are removed.
I love those little purple bruises that needles leave behind.
