I thought I knew how, but apparently I don't, so how does one block viewing posts from specific posters? lovingpet

I've always used the "hide" button right under their picture here on the forums

Oh, okay! I will look for that then. I've never felt the need to do this before. I don't like to do it, but it seems necessary. lovingpet

[:D] There's a certain poster whose every post revolves around his anal escapades, and I have his posts hidden; it's a handy little feature. The poster will still show up on the thread, but the text isn't visible. BKSir has it right: The little "hide" button on the lower left-hand side of one of their posts will do the trick. Awwwww.... Thanks Venatrix! blushes profusely LOL on the "anal escapades". Yes this poster is just causing me undue stress during my "fun" time. A-hidin I will go! It does still feel icky though. I like to think I am above just shutting people down because they get on my nerves. lovingpet

I don't know either, but I think I'm going to use them on my next powerball ticket. ;) And, don't feel bad L.P. I don't like to do it either, but, there are some people out there, mainly on the political threads, who I just can't bear to try and read. It's easier and safer for me to just hide them.

Thanks BKSir! Yes for the safety and sanity of everyone involved sometimes it is best to pretend people live on a different planet. I wouldn't mind so much if there was meat to all the noise, but there is no substance and it seems I have acquired a leech that will go to every thread I am on from now on just to contradict me and cause crap. No, thanks to getting all worked up over a thread on the P&R board, given my health, my partner ordered me to not post there anymore. [:o] Help us all if he ever lifts that ban and I am at FULL strength!!!! Just so yall know. I have yet to be at my full level on these boards to date. Scary I know! LOL lovingpet

I was reading it, and, something in my head actually felt funny, and not in the funny way. It truly was like being able to feel brain cells dying just from the stupidity of someones post. From that moment on, I've refused to go back. ;)

Bah! I say, Bah! to you all. The P&R forums is a great place to hang out! And as for using the Hide function,well I just don't see the need.If I dislike a post I just scroll down to the next one.
