Angel is sleeping atop the pillow-top back cushions of the sofa. She thinks they're very comfortable and much better place to be today than outside in the rain. Lily is pouting because Angel is STILL in the house. Misty is snoozing on the comforter.

with pepper I have the impression she is more likely to eat when she gets attention whilst eating...so when I sit on the sofa and her food bowl is in the lounge on the floor, then she is more likely to eat from it, as I am there then, as if she is on her own in the kitchen...I just wish I would get more weight onto her. In general she is the most timid of my cats, though she has some moments where she smacks one of the others...

I was actually in the kitchen and opened a can without Angel rushing into the kitchen, so I have the sneaking suspicion that my neighbor slipped her some table scraps when she was outside today. She loves to go over to my neighbor's porch and beg because I'm sure what she gives her is much tastier than catfood.

What my cat is NOT doing: My cat is definitely NOT coughing up a hairball. Thank God. She's been hacking disgusting stuff for a week. Nothing like waking up several times in the night to a disgusting Siamese cat dry heaving next to my head.

Yeah, KB is trying to hack one up too.....not the most pleasant thing to see or hear.....and of course, he did it all over the rug I just washed and brought in from outside......but at least he didn't do it on the futon.....yet. I comb and give them stuff for hairballs, food and vaseline, and they STILL get them......I give up!

cheeky urmel attacked pepper whilst she was napping on her favourite beanbag....pepper faught back a bit but then let him win...following which I got him off her bag and placed her back onto it...damn she is way too much a pushover in my crowd

Angel's scrounging around in the kitchen, looking for leftover tidbits of canned food in Lily's bowl before she'll eat the dry food. Lily's nappng in my office. Misty's wandering around aimlessly.

Squeaks is giving me hugs....I'm bummed over the results of today's test at the police department I'm trying to get a position with. They do a test that measures voice patterns and stress, and it indicated that I was lying on the following questions....do I belong to a subversive or terrorist group, have I ever stolen currency from an employer and I forget the 3rd question....but the answers to all of them are not just "no", but "HELL NO!" WTF?????? I've never had a job working with money, I certainly don't belong to ANY groups...I'm not even registered with a political party! The detective said not to worry, that the test won't knock me out of the running, but hell, I don't like being called a liar, especially by some machine that isn't even admissable in a court of law! I can't help but think that I'm done......

So Squeaks has been following me around cuz she senses I'm bummed, and everytime she gets me to pick her up, I get {{{{{{hugs}}}}} and kitty facerubs from her. Even KB has been snuggling up to me......it's amazing how they know I'm bummed or not feeling well, and give me some much needed support. Even right now, KB is sitting next to me, and he reaches out every so often with a paw to touch my arm. Of course, he could be hungry too!

Oh yeah, the 3rd question was whether or not I associate with criminals.....I told her the only people I even know here in town are cops and dispatchers! I don't know anyone else here at all. I'ts the same for every other place I've been.

Angel had been doing better about not chasing Lily, but was VERY bad today. Poor Lily is hiding in my office so as not to be chased again.

Ohhhhhh......a kittttyyy thread!

My Domme cat is sitting on the couch drying her paws after a mad dash around the snow filled yard with one of her two loyal subbie males. The youngest of these is in the bay window watching a woodpecker at the bird feeder. The other one is rolling around on the floor with his favorite piece of rope.

note to kitty lovers; the yard is completly fenced in with 8 foot fence topped with a foot of lattice so no kitty cats were in danger while playing.

Smooch is an evil little kitteh this afternoon. I went to feed the 4 of them, and was short one......I opened every cupboard, looked under all the furniture, checked the closets, even opened the dryer....nothing. No Smooch, no familiar "meow", not a single peep or sighting of him. I got dressed and wandered outside shaking the bushes on the off chance that he got out on me...he's done it before and I didn't even know it til hours later. I come back inside, and there he is, walking in the kitchen, just cruising along. I spent 30 minutes looking for him, and he just nonchalantly walks in. I swear, they do this on purpose just to see me panic! And then comes the *snickersnortsnicker*.........KITTEHS!

I finally vacuumed again and for my kitty cat it is the worst thing in the world...She hates it sooo much.

She goes and hides out on the top shelf of the closet and doesn't come out for hours and even then it takes her a few hours to calm down...I don't vacuum sometimes because of this but I am not complaining too much about that! ha ha

I know what you mean, otter.....all I have to do is pull it out of the closet and they disappear faster than a virgin at a frat party! They come out once it's gone though...they don't hide for hours. I feel so bad for them knowing it scares them so badly, but it's gotta be done.......poor beebees!
