I belong to a teleconference study group and Lily kept jumping on top of my study guide today as I was trying to participate in the meeting.  After about the sixth attempt, she finally got the hint and left me alone.  Not as bad as the time she knocked the phone down while I was on a phone interview....

I guess Angel gets the "best-behaved" award for the last couple of days.

The dark one is Spud, and the orange one is Hobbes. These are the two who are usually trying to be the closest one to me. They get along pretty well...until they don't!

Status: offline 		Angel begged to go outside, then got to the door and did a double-take when she realized the temp has gone down 25 degrees since this afternoon.  Not quite what she expected, so she decided to stay in.  She has lost her "best-behaved kitty award," though.  I caught her being mean to Lily earlier this evening. 

I got quite a shock while I was deep in meditation this evening and Lily jumped directly onto my solar plexus and scared the daylights out of me.

I guess Misty gets the "best-behaved kitty award" today.

Status: offline 		KB is sitting here next to me at the computer staring hard.....trying to communicate some strange kitteh thought, I'm sure.  I don't think he's hungry, as they ate when I got up about an hour ago.  The rest of the gang are just sorta hanging out, Squeaks in her basket in the window and Boo and Smooch are playing muffins in the floor.  (Muffins means they are laying like a muffin top on their feet......I have the windows open, it's 64 degrees, an they are acting like they are cold.....)

Status: offline 		Girly, you should know by know that "cats" and "subtle" are polar opposites.  When KB wants something, he's as subtle as a wrecking ball.  His favorite way of getting attention is head butting me while I'm sleeping.  And his stare would bring the dead back to life!  It's like lasers boring into the back of my head!

Right now his Highness is napping in his basket...his minions are passed out in their various hidey holes.

Status: offline 		They are all checking out their new toy, it's called "catch me if you can"....it's a feather on a stick attached to a motor under a big blue cover.  And it took KB all of 35 seconds to figure out how to cheat......instead of trying to catch it like the other two boys do, he just walks across the cover and steps on it.  That cat is too smart for my own good!  Squeaks so far doesn't want to have anything to do with it.....I put her down on the floor next to it and she ran off giving me quite the evil little glare!

Status: offline 		Boo has staked out the futon loveseat that I got today...thrift stores are fun!  It actually matches my Ikea stuff.....I just have to find a cover for it now......the others are all spread out in their fave places to snooze....if the dryer door was open, someone would be in on the warm sheets.....

Status: offline 		Angel and my neighbor's cat Dusty had quite the loud skrimish in my yard this afternoon.  I ended up having to go outside and break it up, as I was trying to get some work done.  Next job I'm NOT working at home.

Status: offline 		Spicy just bumped his head pretty loud on my bed as he jumped on my bed from the bottom part of it between two wooden parts of it...instead of jumping from the side where there wouldnt have been that wooden board...now he rests cuddled up on my arm...

Status: offline 		I was surprised to come home last night and find Angel sleeping on her pillow on the floor, and Lily sleeping on a chair only about four feet away.  Then, when I woke up in the morning, they were both still in the same places.  Normally they abhor each other and stay as far apart as possible.
