Cashie woke me up an hour earlier than I NEEDED to be up by knocking the screen out of the bedroom window and going walkabout..

He's back inside now.. he'd been exploring under the house.

little bastard.

this means that I gotta talk to the landlord about a way to make the screens only able to open from OUTSIDE.

Number one, you obviously *needed* to be up then to see to the kitteh emergency (breakfust)
Number two, I don't think screens that are only able to open from the outside are safe at all. Maybe get ones that lock? Idk...

I got home from work & Booga has been running wildly about the apt. He knocked another large empty box onto the floor so he now has two. Earlier, I found him asleep inside the box the heater came in. He now has the box that the air purifier came in too. I have a cupboard below the sink that doesn't have a door on it & in his mad running around, he ran into that cupboard, made a quick u-turn & ran back out again, chirping. He then started howling at something. I think it was at the front door. And he's the one who never goes out.

I blame Greedy & her kitteh pressies for this behavior.

Char, she's growing into quite the pretty little lady!  And Janah, your's is a looker too......let us know when you decode any part of the language....we can all use the secrets!

Good luck Greedy....once they get out, it's almost impossible to keep them inside.....it's a nightly contest for me when I come home....try stopping 3 of them with your hands full of grocery bags...Boo got his widdle head sqooshed tonight.  OY!

Little Bit is asleep again....I gave him another bath, he was covered in flea dirt.  He was NOT thrilled about it at all, but at least he's all clean and shiny!  I've been trying to stop the fleas here, but they are terrible!  I'm at the point now of dips and bombs, once the money allows it.  Right now, I'm using powder and collars, and it seems to be working all right, but I can't use any of it on Little Bit yet, he's still too young.

When I came home, Little Bit was on my bed...which is about 2 1/2 feet off the floor. Not sure how he got up there, he must have scaled my robe hanging over the edge....when I got home and found him, he was peeking over the edge thinking "Man, that first step is a DOOOOOOZY!"  I got him down, and off he went to the food dish and potty box.  He and Boo are playing with the kitty go round thing batting the ball back and forth now.

Misty just turned her nose up at a filet mignon tidbit. Sometimes I just don't understand her.

Well, tonight she eagerly ate left-over filet mignon tidbits. Why she would eat left-overs today when she had rejected the original food yesterday is beyond me, as is much of what she does.

She has taken a sudden liking to my office chair. Every time I get up for any reason, even for a minute, she jumps up and sits in my chair again. I've had the same chair in there for ages. I don't know why it suddenly became so attractive today.

Because da Boyz are such lumps, I never have to worry about them darting out the door when I open it. They never dart. They lumber!!

I talked with the neighbor in whose yard the feral family is living & confirmed that they are indeed feral. The children were mad at me for suggesting that they needed to live in homes. They want to keep them for themselves, of course. When we explained that it was going to get cold & snowy soon, they said they had built them a shed & that was home enough for them. LOL But I am the only one feeding them, as far as I can tell. Since I talked with the neighbor, I will start venturing into the yard to see if I can coax them out of the hedge that way. They really are beautiful kittens. There are 2 mostly grey tabbies, one orange tabby & one grey tabby with a lot of white on it. I wonder how da Boyz will react to little ones in here.

Little Bit thinks that my king sized bed is an excellent playground!  All those little lumps and bumps that move.....aka my feet, toes, legs......etc!  So, we are again up......Little Bit is just rip-roaring along.  He is currently looking for something else to get into here at the computer.  I have to be careful waling around, cuz he just suddenly *pops* up between my feet....I swear, the kitteh is trying to kill me!  I'm going to try feeding him and hoping that he will finally settle down and sleep!

Having him here reminds me of having a baby all over again......lots of fun, but lots of sleep deprivation, too!

a little while ago, Cashie was TRYING to jump up into the window I hadn't closed to its lowest notch.. it is now closed. I think I need to get a harness and leash for him.. maybe if I take him outside supervised, he wont be so determined to go AWOL...

OMG greedy a cat trying to break in instead of venture out now thats funny. we have a tom thats around here that from time to time thinks about slinking in to see his girlfriend, My Mystic kitteh, because while she was in heat they would sit in the window and talk to each other LOL.

now mystic and all other animals are crashed out and relaxing since there is no telling what all they did while we were gone doing laundry other than blondie playing excape artist on some people that she was at a play date on while they were watching her.

s2s that is so cute mystic still thinks every so often that she has to climb up on me and make the boobies hurt more by kneeding them since they are filling up for the comming UM.

I had to evict Misty from my office chair at least 20 times today. Every time I get up, she gets up on my seat. I still can't get over how she suddenly became so fascinated with that specific chair two days ago when I have had it for years and she never paid attention to it before. The living room chair and sofa are a lot more comfortable, so I don't know why that particular chair is so special.

Right now Jennie is sitting on the stairs whining at the dogs to quit making so much noise. Mudgie (nickname for Smudge, a Russian blue who looked like a charcoal smudge when he was a kitten) is harassing the dogs, playing tag. Mia is sleeeping.. she can't be bothered with all this nonsense!
