UglyTruth -> RE: an awesome prank (7/27/2009 6:05:30 AM)

That was worth a chuckle.

OT, but your sig is incorrect:

if you are reading this, then i already own your soul. hahaha!

I don't have a soul.

pahunkboy -> RE: an awesome prank (7/27/2009 8:17:30 AM)

lmao

Arpig -> RE: an awesome prank (7/27/2009 9:15:52 AM)

I thought it was pretty low, and not funny.

NightTigress -> RE: an awesome prank (7/27/2009 11:07:42 AM)

It reminds me of a company that offered a Toyota to the winner of a contest, and the winner got a toy Yoda

winterlight -> RE: an awesome prank (7/27/2009 2:30:58 PM)

I wonder if they get sued for not being clear it was a candy bar. I think it was really low of them to do this..

DomKen -> RE: an awesome prank (7/27/2009 2:39:42 PM)

Yeah a couple of douches. No wonder they can't stay on the air. Pulling that crap on their loyal listeners isn't very bright.

LdyyR -> RE: an awesome prank (7/27/2009 2:54:20 PM)

That is a joke only to be played on an enemy, not a friend or fan.

Dumb.

(Enormously dumb).

(Beyond dumb).

Marc2b -> RE: an awesome prank (7/27/2009 8:12:56 PM)

What am I gonna do with my candy bar? I'm gonna shove it up your ass, that's what I'm gonna do!

fadedshadow -> RE: an awesome prank (7/28/2009 3:10:19 AM)

he thought he won $100,000 and all he won was a candybar. his reaction was priceless =]

Nairod -> RE: an awesome prank (7/28/2009 4:14:48 AM)

I agree with the two apparently nice ladies Greedytop and sirsholly. I disagree with the apparently foolish fadedshadow.

How should I handle this? Treat fadedshadow with contempt? Because the way she was brought up is different from the way I was brought up? Because as a result her values are different from my values?

Am I right in making an instinctive decision that Greedytop and sirsholly are nice ladies because we share similar values (in humour at least) whereas fadedshadow seems to me a foolish fuckwit?

Maybe Greedytop and sirsholly are not nice; perhaps they pull the legs off spiders while fadedshadow finances a home for legless spiders [bad example actually - spiders are the spawn of the devil. Please find and replace "spiders" with "butterflies"]. What if fadedshadow spends her life caring for less fortunate people and has qualities, not yet shown, which command respect from others. What if Greedytop and sirsholly spend their lives abusing poor people and have secret qualities, not yet shown, which are worthy of contempt?

One answer of course is to read more posts by the three ladies to seek further information on which to base a reasoned judgement.

Unfortunately there's no time and all I have is pictures and signature lines. Greedytop and sirsholly look to be very pretty and I do like the bit about "you're gonna miss this".  The sig "if you are reading this, then i already own your soul" is either stupid or deep. But the "hahaha" clinches it I'm afraid.

fadedshadow - you appear to be very silly and you should get out more. I fear that the rapacious wolves who prowl these boards will soon rip out your throat. Metaphorically of course.

PS You may find it helpful to obtain a dictionary and look up the meaning of the word "awesome". I don't think it means what you think it means.

Ohhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!

I see.....he won $100,000.00's.....then he envisioned all the immediately life changing events that were momentarily going to occur in his life....only to discover that these amazingly creative radio hosts had ACTUALLY only awarded him a $100,000.00 candy bar and not in fact $100,000.00 in American currency.

Ahhhhhhhhh.....DOH!!!!

And.....sorry......the funny part.....the part of this hilarious bit that a human over the age of 7 could have written is....what again?

That would be my intent.

You seem to be catching some flack for this. Down let it get you down. We all have our moments of shadow joy (I’m not even going to attempt to spell that German word). I think people’s problem with this is that a good prank should play off of a person’s quirks and foibles – one in which the victim can join in the laughter. But, to gin up a person’s hopes and then dash them – that’s just cruel.

I believe you.

On another thread, you complained about being demonized when people discovered you were a masochist.  I did not think that was the real reason, but I did not post on the thread because I was very busy.  Now I believe even more strongly it is not the reason.

To the extent you are shunned or demonized by others, it almost certainly has more to do with your interest in nonconsensual power-play.  Consensual spanking and punishment is something most people think is weird-but-fun, at least for somebody else.  What you are demonstrating in this thread is that you have a desire to hurt another person, in ways that person did not request, and with consequences that are permanent.

Who knows what else he would have done with his three hours of time?  Is that man's mother sick?  I have several friends who have moved back "home," not because they lost their jobs, but because their parents got ill and didn't have sufficient medical coverage to pay for everything on their own.  $100,000 would go a long way to help them.  I would feel quite upset if someone had lifted up the hopes of one of my friends, only to dash them on the rocks.

I hope you find a way to channel your "prank" desires into healthy, consensual play.
