Some colors are hard to see.  If highlighting doesn't solve the problem, chances become very good that the post won't get read.   Otherwise, I see people finding ways to express themselves, and I'm pretty much always good with that.

...blumming.........phonetic spelling of blooming, which in this sense is an adjective meaning annoying. It's a UK dialect thing :)

Sorry I was being persnickety was unwell when I wrote the thread yesterday, as i'm dyslexic I struggle reading anyways. I don't mind having someone writing in different colours, I have got used to that (though the really bright ones are difficult) the different fonts and sizes makes following the text hard, but as you people have said diversity and all that malarchy, I will just skip past.

So this is a site designed for individuality and we expect everyone to type the same way as they attempt to express their individuality?

See I was under the impression that forums are for inclusive discussion. Never mind eh, my bad.

Smoochies girlie.  You should try dyslexia and synaesthesia with words changing colour and smell due to font size, makes for interesting tasting...

Yes, I remember her post talking about that. Is my font easy for you to read, Celeste, or is one that gives you trouble?

Yours is easy for me because it's black and white. I have more trouble with Lady P's simply because there's less of a contrast between the purple and the white.

I've put off going back to the opthalmologist because I know it's about time for the laser treatment on the first eye that had cataract surgery. Eventually they develop wrinkles and need a laser treatment to tighten it up. Sigh!

I wish you well with your eyes, Celeste; being diabetic, I have to take extra good care of mine, or else. And I'm glad my "style" doesn't cause you issues.

How on earth does someone using fonts & colors to express their individuality exclude others? Outside of the readability issue, that doesn't make a lick o' sense to me . . . . . Do you seriously feel excluded from the discussions because Level posts in green or Cat in blue? Seriously? Do emoticons make you feel excluded, too? How about the diversity of signatures, do those make you feel excluded?
