Quite fascinating to learn how the Hubble Space Telescope takes photos. I have seen this in still shots and kinda wondered if it was real. But after seeing this brief documentary (2 1/2 minutes) on how it works you will be amazed at the results of what is has seen.

Technically, that documentary is about one type of image that Hubble collects; but keep in mind that Hubble's a multi-talented astronomical instrument capable of all kinds of tricks.

The images discussed in that documentary are 'Deep Field Images', & here's another video (~6 minutes long) about the collection of those:

(A little hyperbolic, yes.)

Deep field images are one of my favorite kinds of astronomical images gathered, that & pictures of nebulas . .. . . . Mmmmmmmmm . . . . .
