Explaining what were they doing? Thats simple, "making a movie". At 11PM, on a beach, where its a wee bit hard to find a private room. Hell, you see more "adultness" than this walking down an urban street or watching a PG movie. Also remember this is SC, probably the poster child state for evangelical prudeness, where fellatio in the bedroom of a private house is probably illegal.

Doesn't sound like they bothered to get a permit to film a movie there. If they had, then their equipment would not have been seized nor would they have had all this trouble.
