I don't have a lot of bondage furniture at this point, so basically if I do have my heartniece over, I just take the floggers and put them in the case they travel in, and I put the Very Interesting Books on a top shelf, and that's that. The bedcovers cover the main sets of eyebolts, and the cuckolding set on the outside...well, if I don't have someone tied to them, they're likely holding a hanger while someone gets dressed. I've only got about 750 square feet upstairs. But before someone boggles at the floggers hung on the inside of the bedroom door, they've likely gaped at the altar or the ancestor shrine or even the holy shit that's BLUE office visible from the front door. Or the blood red and tan kitchen. (I like color, what the hell.) And they probably had something to say about my hair, before that. So the most I do is to make sure that if my niece needs to nap nothing obvious is sitting out, and I make sure I don't have something screaming PAGAN KINKSTER in direct line of sight when I open the front door, and that's just that.

I don't really think about having my home being "vanilla". The only thing that is always put away are obvious sex toys like insertables.

My family is used to seeing my art. I've always had old pinups around. I've got several sculptures of women in various stages of undress. One is of a woman kneeling and is obviously a bit kinky.

I've had short people go snooping and drag out whips, cuffs, etc.. that were obviously NOT something horse related, in the middle of a family gathering.

I don't hide my books. But then again, the kinkier ones tend to get lost in the masses.

The ONLY time I can remember ever putting something up/away, was when I was concerned about it getting damaged.

I am not your average Josephina, most people that know me, know that.

Greedy, there is definitely enough gear! Although the knot headed youngster had a running buck fit that broke one of my saddles, just recently.

Reminds me of when my partners family turned up unexpectedly one sunday morning, (The Sat Night before I had some friends round and i ended up showing a 'glass butt plug'' to my friends,) ayway the Sunday Morning my Partners Parents with Aunt and Uncle show up 10am, we dive out of bed , I am running about getting dressed while he greeted them, I walk through  the Living room to the kitchen, Spot this Glass Toy on the Mantle Piece, and grab my mobile and rang him From the Dining Room to inform him of what I Spotted, lol, he said not to worry, I walked back in, it was still there,  but after they left, he Said if would have been noticed more if he tried to hide it lol

An other time about 3 weeks ago i had a few windows fitted and I had 2 guys inthe house, i forgot about the box of toys under my bed, not forgot but not thought about them, anyway they were pushed further under the bed by someone lol............. possibly trying to save my embarrassment, which wasnt a problem lol

My house appears, to the untrained eye, to be very vanilla.  Those of you who have (or had) kids living at home know why.

We don't have much. A silk rope, a paddle, a whip...a few toys. But our small collection is kept in a small box. We leave the flaps open but it's not that big of a deal. No one really comes in our small one bedroom apt. unless it's just to drop off food or something. My parents tend to occasionally drop by with like a pan of lasanga or shopping gift cards. We're still getting our feet under us and all. And honestly, our den is such a mess anyway that I doubt they'd notice the small box of toys hidden next to the sofa bed we sleep on in the main room because I like the air circulation better than in the bedroom. And I've got this pantry from big lots that acts as my bookshelf, well the entire top of it is covered in stacks of witchy books. If anyone's going to enter my house, they need to realize it's mine. As for my family, I think the biggest shock they got was when I became pagan. After that and the fact I'm bi...I don't think I can scare them much anymore.

lol, no I don't have kids, just me living at home with Partner at times, Normally don't have visitors lol, so never need to pop things away lol, just funny when these things happen lol
