For most the total stranger thing is likely to remain a fantasy... but surely you can do this with a partner you have build up some trust with aswell?

OP, unfortunate that you're hetero, as this kind of fantasy is very common in the world of gay men. I've seen a ton of ads in Craigslist soliciting partners for similar scenarios . . . . .

At the risk of sounding like Cat (you blow my mind, lady - I had NO idea!!), I was a submissive in another lifetime. I did some risky things before I learned the fundamentals but nothing even approaching the scale of this idea.

For all the reasons everyone has already named, it's just a realllllllllllly bad idea. (okay - for everybody other than susie). Can you imagine having to explain this to your insurance adjuster?

ive trotted off to someones lair after only exchanging emails and talking on the phone a couple of times - i think its really down to how a person projects themselves, if you come across as grounded, sane and genuine you have a better chance.

having said that - a D friend told me how he once arranged to meet a sub in a hotel room after only a brief period of getting to know and found she'd padlocked herself to the loo. he spent a fair while telling her off for being an idiot.

the trouble is, you know youre safe, youre friends know youre safe and blah blah - a stranger doesnt. you might need to consider some sort of reassurance policy to back you up.

dont forget either, that in just the same way as she doesnt know what she's letting herself into, niether do you - she might be a total fruit loop, a newbie with the same fantasy but finds half way through that she feels abused and raped.

Ah yes....there are recent threads where this has happened. OP go ahead and search the boards to find out more about other's experiences with claims of non-consensual sex which started out totally different.

As others pointed out the risks on your end seem to range from being rather mild - she isn't what or who she said - to being severe. You could be robbed, hurt, or taken to jail.
