It's a beautiful day here, sunny & clear. I've been collared for close to a month and a half now & Sir and I are doing wonderfully. ~all smiles~ Been making pies for the bazaars around the area....I love to bake! I've made three new friends on collarme, all gals, and I'm meeting one of them along with her D in person in the fall. I'm so happy. ~smiles~ The apartment building I live in is just bananas, you'd think it was a full moon or something but that's not for almost another week. I'm taking Blackie to the vet next week for his annual, but he's always a healthy cat, so no worries. Life is good.

FR, after read thru I'm doin' okay, kinda low energy these days . . . . Went to a bondage class / play party last weekend, which was unexpected -- local people invited me to car-pool down . . . . Had a great time, learned new stuff. I'm going on a road-trip with my dad at the end of July, down to the LA area, including a trip to Disneyland, which I love . . ..

I wish health and happiness to those who are in need of such and am sorry I can't say what I would like to say to some with some challenges going on. I'm rushing around like a chicken with a broken leg trying to get things ready for my visitor. I have to go pick him up in a couple hours and don't know how long he is staying or how often I will be online. We have a lot of things to do while he is here. I'm exhusted already! Hummm he just called and there is a delay so I have a few more hours to rush around and maybe get to the store. It ought to be pouring rain by then. Grrrr... lol I need a slave to prepare for a workerbee! Why am I one who cleans before a maid comes???? My daughter and son in law are hoping he and I get together and are thinking all romantic like. The saps! No way! Nothing has changed in 26 years since I saw him and I don't move backwards! But it should be interesting to say the least! He is more submissive than even he realizes and he knows I have become even more dominant. I know he wouldn't mind a reconnection, but it isn't happenin and he knows it. We will just have some fun and do some work around here. It is kind of fun hearing him speak about me way back when and remembering things I forgot. Those were some wild and crazy times! This will be very different! lol I'll let you know if it is one of those yikes moments in life! lol

Here, the weather can't make up it's mind; everyone decided to take off work at the same time (with a staff of 9, it's a serious problem when you have 4 people who are on vacation or FML, or have called off - this was the situation this morning); and generally, I'm not liking the situation right now. But on the bright side, it has to get better, right?

I'm here. June included 12 days visit from a collared non-local sub…when I was only one week into permission to walk on the busted & repaired leg (with the modern version of a cast: a fracture walker that I call "The Boot"). He got to do extra chores for me, and accomplished an electrical repair that's been needed for years, huzzah! July 1 orthopedic visit released me from the tyranny of "The Boot", and the surgery to take pins out of leg happens later in July. Now if I can only lose a few pounds while the long daylight helps adjust those Caucasian genes to let the metabolism do so… D

Going to Infected Mushroom concert tonight in Seattle! Working on the potter's wheel to make doumbeks! Painting on 4 canvases at a time out on My deck! Talked to yet another do-me female who just wanted to get scened. sheesh Taking applications for a week's visit with Me. Encouraging those with glowing potential here on CM - you know who you are! Making This Summer one of the Best Ever!

ahhhhh - i'm so glad June has left the building! lots of ups and downs. at least i was able spend some time with my pet before he returned to London for business pouts ...it was a wonderful vacation traveling with him. hopefully we'll be moved in before the end of the month or as soon as the new landlord finishes minor repairs and repainting. lots of wedding planning and rock shows ...plus bored ums keeping me busy - i cannot wait until school starts again!

Well, I am thinking that this may be my last Roll Call, at least for a while, as well. I am really trying to be good about dedicating time to my fiction writing, and frankly, I get all caught up in the discussions here, and my companion's search for a boy, and I lose my focus on what is really -important- to me... and because I talk -way- too damned much and have an opinion on -everything-... well... the only way to break the board habit is cold-turkey. Right now, I have my profile hidden, but I'll be turning it back on in case anyone wants to reach me, but I'm going to do my darndest to keep my fingers in my -writing- and off the boards! With any luck at all, by this time next year, I'll have 2 new novels and some short work done. Dame Calla
