Poor President Obama! He is trying so hard to bring rich people taxpayer paid medical insurance to 25 million foreigner nationals and their children (15-18 million illegally forced here because Americans are so lazy) and here comes the evil secret Republican shadow government to overthrow President Zelaya. I mean all Zelaya wanted to do was serve past his term limitation! Will the Evil Shadow Cheney Adminstration try the same thing when President Obama feels the need to ignore our own silly presidential limitations???

Just the fact that we're mucking about in another country when we have plenty going on in our own that needs to be taken care of chaps my hide, so yeah, I think it's CRAP that Cheney and the CIA stuck the US into someone else's business. CFB

I KNOW, RIGHT??? !!! When is President Obama going to arrest Cheney, Gingrich, Limbaugh and the rest of those anti-American trouble makers??? And it is beyond time we shut down FOX. If we are not careful, the CIA will pack the Congress with corrupt Diebold voting machines in 2010. The time to stop this now and outlaw Conservatism as well as any traitorous anti-President Obama speech.

The facts are that Zelaya has been deposed by a coup. Not surprising when the leader of a Latin American country does not have the backing of his military. FatDomDaddy decided to imply that CIA, Obama, Cheney, and health care were involved. Only he knows why he did that.

From what I've been able to figure out, Zelaya is in Costa Rica, and he's tossing out that the US had to have initiated/supported the coup, because otherwise they wouldn't have been able to overthrow him. shrugs It wouldn't be outside of our history to have stuck our noses in (I don't know what terms the US is on with Honduras offhand), but there is no proof that we had -anything- to do with this one that -I-'ve been able to find. We've gotten involved before. However, right now all the evidence points to an internal military coup from a faction that didn't like the constitutional increase in allowed terms of presidency that just went off. To add to DS's comment above, FDD also appeared to make the implication that this intervention was a -good- thing... I will reiterate, in the event that it turns out that we -were- involved in this, that if we -did- stick our noses into this one, I think there are a lot of other things we could have been doing with our time, money, and resources. DC

Greetings all.... According to news reports the ouster and coup was ordered by the Honduran Supreme Court after they ordered the former President to reinstate the head of the Army he sacked because the general would not help the ex-President run the referendum to allow him to change the constitution to stay in office an unlimited number of terms. http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20090628/ts_nm/us_honduras_president_13 The Honduran congress has appointed an interim President to serve until presidential elections in November and the new President takes office some time after that. I don't know an exact date but I am certain it is already set. Otherwise it is a standard loony liberal rant against everyone they think are out to get them while they are ingesting their Obama hopium. Truth is a wonderful thing. More people aught to try it.
