onlyfreelycaged -> RE: play sessions (6/27/2009 11:48:58 AM)

it's the "fun kinky" things... it's the same thing as a seen..

MarsBonfire -> RE: play sessions (6/27/2009 12:47:19 PM)

Play Session:

Dom: "Hey, I haven't seen you for a while... come on over. I want to put you through your paces."

Sub: "Okay."

Dom: "How do you feel about electrical play?...By the way... on your way over, could you pick up some "D" cell batteries?"

Sub: "Um..."

(thus, the play session has already begun....)

She probably is simply checking whether you named yourself master because you are, or because you want to be. There is a search engine here.

BarnacleBill -> RE: play sessions (6/27/2009 3:57:55 PM)

Can people just name themselves Master??[8|]

lizi -> RE: play sessions (6/27/2009 4:23:24 PM)

Some people do just name themselves Master (or whatever title strikes their fancy). It's generally a red flag when that happens...

You're a "Master" and you don't know?

People can call themselves Donald Duck if thats what they feel comfortable with.
Lets look at how many women call themselves Mistress, when in fact they have never earned that title ... but then what does one have to do to earn that title? Pleeeeeeze don't tell me they have to come with references or that they have to know everything!
Sir, Master, Mistress is only a perception of themselves until someone wishes to call them it but then a Dominant can't really be Dominant until he finds someone who will submit and so on and so on and so on.
Does it really matter?

To the OP.... Play is just that. It is something light hearted and fun to seriously dark and mean but either way enjoyable for whoever concerned.

BalletBob -> RE: play sessions (6/27/2009 5:30:56 PM)

Yes they can call themselves anything they want, even a "CAB".  I call myself a sub, but I don't "DIVE" that good.   LOL

You can call me sub BalletBob, or anything else, except late for dinner.  LOL

I am on a roll here. I know, Hot Dog or Burger?

Now for the question, a session is when 2 or more people get together, like Mistress and Sub, and they do B&D, or S&M, and HAVE FUN ! If it isn't FUN for the both of us, I wouldn't do it.

Sincerly Dazed and Confused, and in need of guidence, sub BalletBob

Rarely the same thing as the Master...
but  i guess as long as one of 'em knows eh?

califsue -> RE: play sessions (6/27/2009 5:57:54 PM)

A reply to the OP...to me when I talk about a 'play session' it is about getting together for just that.
An opportunity to explore sensual sexual if agreed play which may include, spanking, canes, blindfolds, bondage or
whatever is agreed to between two people. It also means for me, strictly play. That there is no expectation that
the either person is interested in persuing a relationship and it is strictly to get the physical needs met without
having to feel like I have to have a relationship with the other person.

sweetsub1957 -> RE: play sessions (6/27/2009 7:08:39 PM)

Indulging in kinky stuff together that both the D-type and the s-type enjoy.  That's how I see it anyway.

pompeii -> RE: play sessions (6/28/2009 4:30:54 AM)

A play session is an amount of time (i.e., session) to play (e.g., erotic fun) with you.

DesFIP -> RE: play sessions (6/28/2009 5:25:00 AM)

Ask her first.

Because if she means strictly play and you think it means sex, then not asking ahead of time may get you in jail for rape.

daddysliloneds -> RE: play sessions (6/28/2009 6:10:09 AM)

i'm not there to submit, but to have fun first and foremost.

I know, right? I call no one 'Sir" or 'Master' until I see if they are worthy of the title.

If they aren't then I call them 'C-ya!'

kiwisub12 -> RE: play sessions (6/28/2009 8:55:35 AM)

For me, a play session is when Sir invites\orders me to the dungeon  - and things take off from there - to the (usually) satisfaction of us both. [:)]

Your profile indicates you have been on here 3 years..?
That your train?

PLAY session is a common term...use The SEARCH BUTTON
that has 3 years dust on it...

avan -> RE: play sessions (6/28/2009 9:14:57 AM)

Just to add to this...for me a 'play session' might include anything that involves D/s intimacy...it will usually mean a 'scene' but may include chat/cam/photo play too...  i guess it could also mean a email/real life/phone/cam role play exchange even if sexual play is not included... Like others say, it differs person to person but mainly revolves around intimate liasions.

Hope that helps :-)
