It's interesting that you have assumed ownership of other people's feelings and feel you have the right to dictate to others how they respond to someone's death.

I'm not one of those people 'grieving' for Michael Jackson,, but having been in London when Diana Princess of Wales died and also in Poland when Pope John Paul II died this reaction to Michael Jackson's death by some is not only understandable, it is also human. I'm not one for emotional displays or excessive emotion myself, but I do understand that some people do feel such emotions and I feel they have just as much right to express those emotions and feelings as others have of not having such feelings or emotions.

You don't have to have met someone to feel you have some sort of relationship with them. I am not a musician or performer, but someone connected with the performing arts and I know that those relationships between audience and performer or artist and inspiration or influence are just as real as the relationships you have with your parents or children.
