A group of wealthy pensioners have been accused of kidnapping and torturing a financial adviser in Germany after he lost £2 million of their savings in the financial crisis. The men, dubbed the "Geritol Gang" by police after an arthritis drug, face up to 15 years in jail if found guilty of subjecting German-American James Amburn to the alleged four-day ordeal. Two of his kidnappers are said to have hit him with a Zimmer frame outside his home in Speyer, western Germany, before he was bound up with duct tape, bundled into the boot of a car and driven 300 miles to the home of two of the abductors on the shores of Lake Chiemsee in Bavaria. "I was bleeding from my eyes, nose and my mouth," he said. "But the nightmare had only just started."

Well someone is upset over the mess.  I guess in this case they are terrorists.  But in police science- often the victim also a perp.
So- there ya go.  The banks stole the entire countries money.  Now who is the  player??
How will this go when people - who expect XYZ money.
Most the time a terrorist is someone whose shit was taken from them,
and that in a sense it what the todays circus will boil down to.

Volker Ziegler, the chief public prosecutor from nearby Traunstein, said: "They were angry because they invested money in properties in Florida and he lost it all. This was black money – they hadn't declared it to the revenue authorities in Germany."

They couldn't go to the authorities about his losing their money, nor could they sue him in court . . . . . Or, at least, that's the implication I'm hearing . ....

and we gave madoff a secret trial...   and madoff is quite comfy.   ..so madoff likely has better security then the Germany crowd.  Germany tho is interesting in that- 2x in the past the people were wiped out- and the general culture has some alertnes of it. They are installing gold vending machines over there.   Then Mercal went off on Obama.    ...I seen a few "insider" emails...  and...  these guys love it-still cocky and robber barrons.

This house WILL be celebrating bastil day.   Maybe even with a decorative guitien for the front yard...

So, in truth what happened is that some people who had been commiting the same crime together kidnapped their money launderer?

I bet he is more careful with people's money from now on. Maybe the law could not touch him, but the duct tape could. Next time your broker loses some of your money just walk in and slap the duct tape down on the desk and stare at him.
