Girls: ....how come they (wimmens) don't make sense? Dommes, even more so? Can someone please explain women to me? They're so incredibly different...and they act so incredibly odd....why aren't they more like men? Why don't they go around, smelling really incredibly fantastic....but then, in the end, be more like men? (Okay....I don't want you to have a "hang down" when I wake up....I just want you to act like {without actually saying so}...."hey listen....that was all kinds of fun but...I have some shit to do and....well...I really gotta go....").... And then....go....wait for me to call? How come?

I am very much a feminist, but there are times when I shake my head and feel ashamed of my gender. There are certain things I really do admire about men. I believe it is part biology and part socialization. One thing I really appreciate is that there is no advantage for men to play clueless or dumb - so, they don't use it as a tool to manipulate (usually) and its not a cultivated trait. When a man seems clueless or dumb, it's often quite genuine. I also appreciate the ability to shrug things off and go on. In contrast, I see women much more likely to become paralyzed by fear, grief, etc. There are two edges to these swords though. In all seriousness, we have much to learn from one another. I am glad to have come of age in a time and place where we are allowed to learn from one another, and throw off some outmoded paradigms. If I want to stay the night, it's probably because I am tired and the bed is comfortable, and I might be in the mood for a morning screw. I don't want to have to go home and then find another man in the early morning hours just so I can have a little fuck before I get going for the day. It's not because I am so bonded that I want to revel in the farting and snoring all night. Sure, I might like a phone call later, but really - someone else is in the on-deck circle anyway, so it doesn't matter that much.
