Sunday is Fathers Day so i wanted to wish all the dads a very blessed and happy day. Ol Jim might think he is going to spend the day relaxing in front of the TV with a few beers and a bag of chips. HA!!!! The LO and i have plans to drag him to the zoo for the day.

LOL Holly... I wish everyone a Happy Father's Day as well! I was trying to find a song that I remember for my son in law, who has taken my daughter's um's and has been a wonderful Daddy to them! This would be his first father's day and I want to say thank you from granny here! I can't for the life of me figure it out... who did it and what the name of the song was. It's a boy's story, single mother who goes out on a date and then she married the man and the now older boy was thanking him for doing what he did when he didn't have to do it. Help?

?????? Shouldn't Fathers day be about what the FATHER wants to do? On Mothers day I take andi out and we live it up because that is what SHE wants. I want ZERO Fuss on Fathers Day, I won't even let andi get me a gift because if I want or need something it can wait, I don't care for getting things on Fathers Day, Cards are nice but I honestly see it as just another Day, Nothing more. I call my Dad and I say Hi and I ask how he is doing but I don't make a huge Fuss because well none of us want a Fuss. Mind you I have THREE Fathers for Fathers day to call and ALL of them agree on the whole it's just a day. If Mothers wanna be fussed over then fuss over them but on Fathers day SERIOUSLY Listen to what the DAD wants to do, it is his day after all. Steel

ROFL Holly! Thank you soooo much for the song! I just couldn't get it.. not even the words... but I remembered there was a song! Sonny boy is getting a CD for his first father's day from granny! The guy deserves it! But I may need to do something more... I think he is up to something! Twice I have gotten calls this week about my van and the year and make. He knows I need an oil change, tune up and it is heating up. They called and simply told me to get over there... they never get bossy with me and I think they were buying parts earlier... but I can't drive with my neck this way. It better hurry and get fixed because I need to go daddy day shopping! He is more than a great daddy... a great hubby.. great son in law.. a hero in my eyes!
