LookieNoNookie -> NO MO DAMNED WABBITS!!!!!! (6/17/2009 5:32:32 PM)

"She was placed on five years probation, banned from owning or controlling animals and was told not to go within 100 yards of a rabbit."

The weird shit that happens in this country never ceases to amaze me

intenze -> RE: NO MO DAMNED WABBITS!!!!!! (6/17/2009 5:46:43 PM)

agreed. And we worry about breastfeeding!

Asherdelampyr -> RE: NO MO DAMNED WABBITS!!!!!! (6/17/2009 5:48:44 PM)

So would it be worse then if we found that she was publicly breastfeeding the rabbits?
I ask merely for information

DarkSteven -> RE: NO MO DAMNED WABBITS!!!!!! (6/17/2009 6:29:32 PM)

It's like this, see.  You start off with only two rabbits... and then.....

Ever hear of Fibonacci?

Asherdelampyr -> RE: NO MO DAMNED WABBITS!!!!!! (6/17/2009 6:31:17 PM)

But of course :D

beargonewild -> RE: NO MO DAMNED WABBITS!!!!!! (6/17/2009 6:48:51 PM)

Oh my.....what would Bugs Bunny say?

LadyHibiscus -> RE: NO MO DAMNED WABBITS!!!!!! (6/17/2009 7:33:35 PM)

OH MAN!  There was an Animal Cops that showed animal hoarders...  this old gal had hundreds of rabbits in her LARGE home.  It was a festival of bunny poop, yes indeeeedy~  Did you know that there is a Rabbit SANCTUARY in Texas, where the bunnies get to be free range until they die (or are taken by hawks, I guess, which amounts to the same thing.)

ChasingOblivion -> RE: NO MO DAMNED WABBITS!!!!!! (6/18/2009 12:50:09 AM)

I used to have rabbits. I will never have rabbits again. I bought one rabbit because it was cute and furry and my foster daughter wanted it. Then she decided the rabbit was lonely, so we had to get another rabbit (both female thankfully). Then one of the rabbits died, so we had to get another rabbit, but ended up with two other rabbits because the one she wanted was just too attached to her litter-mate to be separated (yes, I know, I'm a major sucker). Unfortunately, one of the two new rabbits (the woman we bought them from swore they were both female) turned out to be a boy, but I didn't find that out until later. A few weeks later was my birthday and guess what I got?? Another rabbit. And then, to make things even more interesting, an aquaintence of mine asked me to pet-sit her rabbit while she was out of town. She never came back for it, said she didn't want it back, and the rabbit was pregnant. By the time the babies were born, I had 15 rabbits. I no longer like rabbits.

LadyPact -> RE: NO MO DAMNED WABBITS!!!!!! (6/18/2009 1:14:44 AM)

OK, but how exactly can someone promise as part of their sentence to stay 100 yards away from any rabbits?  Every place I've ever lived, I've seen rabbits in the early morning hours while going to work or seen them in the yard munching grass.  Not own the rabbits, fine, but who can control what hops along?

Have to wonder though if the sentence is going to be harder around Easter.  LOL.

hlen5 -> RE: NO MO DAMNED WABBITS!!!!!! (6/18/2009 1:19:50 AM)

ChasingOblivion,

How did you get rid of them? Hossenfeffer??

She actually had visitations to her home to verify compliance.  Aside from those visitations, nobody would be monitoring her.

I found them all good homes.
But first I separated the boys from the girls so I wouldn't have more rabbits in the mean time. I found that sexing rabbits is not as easy as it sounds. I also found that you really can learn anything from the internet, lol.

Mr. Ed was the talking horse. Wilbur was the man who owned him.
But I know what you mean. When I read that I let out an extremely unladylike snort.
Thankfully no one heard me either.

Lockit -> RE: NO MO DAMNED WABBITS!!!!!! (6/19/2009 12:31:32 AM)

LOL... hey... my memory sucks!  I laugh about it all the time!  Glad someone else got some too! lol
